Stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was great and they even brought out multiple rounds of honey drizzled croissants while we waited for our food. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Tacos and they were great. Just a little heat from the chicken and hot honey and the sweet potato fries came with this amazing brown sugar butter sauce. Definitely worth the stop.

This has to be one of the best restaurants with the best service that I have had the pleasure of visiting in a very long time.
When we arrived, there was about an hour wait. However this was unexpected due to an event that was going on in the area. Despite this, the manager came over to us and ask if it was just the two of us, and a table opened up in the bar area and we were happy to take the high top.
Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We even had an issue with an undercooked item, but they took care of it right away without a fuss. The manager had the best sense of humor. I was thoroughly impressed.
Not used to being able to go out for food without a side of attitude these days. Quality service and standards seem to be a thing of the past in most places. That is very much not the case here.
I want to sincerely thank The staff, the manager, and the cooks. My friend and I will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

Lovely from top to bottom. Excellent dishes with professional service in a spectacular atmosphere! We arrived on a Friday night around 7:40ish and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The food was delicious, would have loved to have room for dessert because it looked wonderful. The layout and decor are both so unique and charming; I loved the decorations and perfect warm cozy lighting. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked perfectly and the “Ole” favorite pasta was my favorite!

Great spot for lunch. Went on Valentine’s Day in the afternoon. Was told a 30 min wait but sat in like 10. Lobster and crab soup was amazing. Got it with half a club and it was perfect. Husband got the tuna lettuce wraps and enjoyed them. Service was great. I’d go back.

My family and I went for the first time, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. We ordered a kids’ mac and cheese, Shrimp & Fries, Burger, and the Char-Crust Salmon. I was amazed by the kids’ mac and cheese—it was delicious and made with care, unlike many places that don’t put much effort into kids’ meals. The fries were perfectly crisp and so delicious. My son really enjoyed his burger, and the Char-Crust Salmon was excellent. We also tried the croissants, and they were absolutely outstanding—definitely a highlight! Every dish was well prepared. Morgan’s has always been the go to place. Great food, great service. If you’re in downtown New Bern this is the one stop shop for dinner. The burgers awesome and the steak is just crazy good.

Stopped in for lunch and a drink, the place was very rustic and friendly atmosphere. Our server Sarah was very courteous and knowledgeable of the offerings. We had a BLT on sour dough bread and a hamburger with a gluten free bun. A glass of Pinot Grigio and flight of five house tap beers in what they call a claw. We also took the key lime pie and triple chocolate cake to go as their portion sizes are pretty big.
