I ordered at 4:54 PM and the order said it would be ready between 5:16 and 5:21 PM. The order was not ready until 5:45 PM. (This is fine. I understand they got busy.) However, when I went to get my order, and entered my code in the pizza portal, it said “Invalid”. I told the young lady at the front counter, and she said she didn’t have my order on her screen. I showed her my order number, and she said “I think someone stole your pizzas.”
At this point, it had been well over an hour since I ordered. She told me she’d have to refund me, and charge me over again. I agreed, but…. She charged me full price, which was double what I had already paid online using the app. She told me that she could not honor the app special.
By this time, she had already charged me, and I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to wait an additional hour, and I didn’t want to pay double the price. She responded, “Well, you already paid.” And rolled her eyes.
Then tried to apologize and say she’s mad at herself…..
There were a few pizzas in the portal, as well as the warming racks. There was also several ordered of bread, so not sure why I would have had to wait longer. A large cheese, and a large pepperoni are pretty standard orders.
My kids were starving, as we ordered this pizza to celebrate a basketball game that my son won.
I spend a lot of money at this location for my family, for parties, for sports, and other events.
I have never had this happen, and never had my pizzas stolen….
To put the cherry on top, the gentleman behind me also had an issue with his order as well.
Not sure what happened tonight, but that is bad for business.
I completely understand being busy, that was not the issue. But the policies and way this was handled could have been better.
Vince has great customer service and helps his staff achieve success.
Pizza is always ready and hot, and fresh.
