Salmon sushi dish was DISGUSTING. The rice was stale. The salmon tasted like detergent to me , I found out the reason why was because this wasn’t real salmon. It was a substitute fish for salmon. Which wasn’t disclosed at all! Very disappointed, this ruined my experience for eating sushi. Its Japanese owned business I expected to have taste of Japan without myself visiting there yet. I know something was off when I saw the salmon, it didn’t look like salmon at all, but a cheap imitation of it. The only food I enjoyed was the Teriyaki Chicken and the miso soup.

Good experience,food was delicious, I had ordered lobster cooked sushi. I took my sister out for her post birthday. Music was on point I love the vibes.This type of vibes reminded me of quads retro Saturday or Wednesday . I did enjoyed myself,I dance . I will visit again and recommend friends

East Japanese brings a seemingly authentic Japanese taste experience. While the decor isn’t totally Japanese, the dishes present the authenticity of the Japanese flavor. The menu is wide and varied. I’ve added a few pages from it in the pictures. Their sushi is worth the visit. The service is great, and the turnaround time was acceptable. You should have a go the next time you’re in New Kingston. Additionally, I find that if you do their box combos, you’ll get better bang for your buck.

Food here is ridiculously good but also ridiculously priced. Take it as you will, good food costing good money or just good money overall. Definitely know you gonna be dropping that paper for this dining experience. Nice environment and ambiance overall it’s quite a spacious and enjoyable experience overall. Also side note feel free to ask for a fork if you are not chopstick proficient so you don’t starve to death while trying to learn how to pick up your food to eat it.

East Japanese was a vibe, a really really great place to chill with friends or your significant other in New Kingston. ..the decor isn’t totally Japanese, a lot was happening but the dishes definitely presented the authenticity of the Japanese culture. The menu is wide and varied, I was flipping through this menu like a textbook for days jk. The sushi was good , the portion size was great, definitely value for your coins! The customer service is great, and the turnaround time was not as long. As a bonus, I went home with leftovers for another day, I loved the photo backdrop that was outside–we definitely took advantage of that . Overall experience was great, definitely recommend, would dine again
P.S. if you like teriyaki—that teriyaki chicken over the white rice was top tier. Should definitely try.

I think the proportions needs to be smaller because it gets cliding(I can’t remember the correct word for this, give me a break!) Overall it’s fine and the atmosphere is the best part about it tbh.
