So the reviews are pretty correct to me. The Vietnamese food was not one that I will remember even though presentation is great. I was really excited to try this place. All of the food has been like pre-batched so maybe that’s why it doesn’t taste totally fresh. The flavors are a little bland . I feel I could’ve gotten better food in bellaire/asian town

A great place to eat! This is more of a Vietnamese fusion place, not traditional Vietnamese, so it will have dishes like pot pies and ribs, but with a Vietnamese touch. Atmosphere is pretty modern and casual. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the food. And the food is just fantastic!

I visited here along with 12 other coworkers on a Tuesday night. The first thing I’ll say is that we had some last minute additions to our party and considering we had 13 people, our server did a great job taking care of us. Thank you!
For the food and drinks, I will say that the drinks are easily a 5/5 stars. Every drink we got was amazing and the mezcal watermelon shots were some of the best I’ve ever had. The food was a bit disappointing on my end. The dumplings, not pictured, were surprisingly mediocre and tasted like ones you would just get out of a bag. Desserts were ok. Nothing to write home about. The steak with green curry sauce was amazing though along with the salmon, also not pictured. The fried rice was also just ok. I expected more from the food considering that I heard the chef won awards and was on a TV show.
The restaurant layout was cool although some of the Asian decorations were a bit tacky. It was also really loud in there and hard to hold a conversation even though it didn’t seem like any parties there were speaking loudly.

My husband and I went to The Blind Goat tonight for our 5 year anniversary and it was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff were fabulous. We had Dallas as our server and she was so kind, attentive and helpful. But what will have us coming back very soon is the food, it was out of this world. We shared a couple appetizers which were perfect. When then shared the chicken curry and caramelized salmon and I couldn’t recommend these two dishes enough. However, we can’t wait to come back to try something new. Don’t forget the cocktails, absolutely delicious. This place really checked every box for us. We will be back!

The food and the service at the bar was phenomenal! Upon arrival I was greeted by the receptionist, and was told there wasn’t a table available for a party of one. This was fine so I opted for bar seating. The gentleman thst helped me and took my order was really nice and comforting. I believe he said this was his first night, but he did awesome as if he’d been there. I ordered the Salmon Crudu, Caramelized Salmon and for take out I ordered The Sticky Wings and Crawfish Garlic Noodles. The Crudu was light and fresh. I enjoyed it very much. The Caramelized Salmon was the star! The Salmon was cooked to perfection and the sauce was devine. My son enjoyed the take out of The Sticky Wings and noodles as well. I’ll definitely return and next time will be sure to make a reservation for a table.

I left The Blind Goat disappointed. We were a party of four， we ordered a few of appertizers，dumpling （mediocre）， pork belly skewers （very good） and the recommended sticky wings （very good）. For dinner， we ordered the crawfish garlic noodle （very nicely cooked with lots of crawfish and flavorful), Grilled steak with green curry (steak is tender but didn’t get much of the green curry flavor), blistered green beans (very blend with little flavor, even Saltgrass steakhouse side dish green bean taste better, seriously), and Texas BBQ brisket fried rice (nicely cooked fried rice with good chunks of brisket). We ended our dinner with apple pie a la mode, which was highly recommended from the reviews, the apple pie mixed with some Asian spices tasted good but portion size was small because the pie is thin not the usual American apple pie you are accustomed to. Overall the dishes we had were somewhat hit and miss, but I just couldn’t get over the $3 for a very tiny bowl of steamed rice.

The blind goat is literally The GOAT! My wife loves this place so we celebrated her birthday last night. The staff is incredible. Dallas was our server and she is a delight! They even moved us a to a nicer table and brought a birthday card signed by all staff! This too while they were super busy! The steak in green curry sauce is out of this world. Better than any major Houston steakhouse imo. The apple pie is incredible! Tastes homemade.
Guava and passionfruit mocktails taste like legit drinks, and not some juices mixed together like most places.
The Chef has an inspiring story so read up on it. It really shows that this is a proper Chef-run restaurant and not some business owner. Highly recommended!
