1st – this restaurant is actually inside the Runaway Hill Inn, which is lovely and has tons of parking out front. Google maps has it pinned in the wrong location but thankfully it’s just down the road.

The staff here are all very friendly and welcoming. They’re attentive, accommodating, and know their menu well.

We ordered a few appetizers to share and everything was lovely. The stand out choices were the soft boiled eggs, the lobster larb, and the ribs.
We all ordered the green or red curry and the fish of the day that was in mine was snapper – it was cooked perfectly.

The drinks were delicious and the setting is great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’d like a nice, more elevated meal.

The food was overall very tasty, but the pricing is a bit outrageous. a plate of just 3 standard gyoza (which were well prepared) is $18, small bowl of curry is $36 (decent, nice spice level, but not a standout)

most outrageous was a bottle of water at $15!!
of course the menu is QR code and segregated by section so you have to go digging to find the price (which i later found was listed at $12), after you’ve already given your drink order. this is just super scummy

This used to be a top notch restaurant on the island. It then changed to Thai’d and now is back to just the restaurant at Runaway Hill. Quite literally one of the best views on the island to grab dinner, it disappoints in many ways. The food by itself is quite alright, but it seems as if the restaurant is run with no experience. 2 hour dinners with children, mistimed order delivery, lack of table service, empty wine glasses begging for refills, total abandonment for hours, etc etc. My advice is to stay away until they figure it out. Good food at that price deserves some more attention to detail when you show up to enjoy it.
