I really hate to write reviews like this, but Pho Viet Nam is one place we definitely won’t be visiting again. Giving 3 stars because of the good service, store, and parking, but we had some of the worst pho we’ve had in our entire lives. Very bland broth, and almost no meat at all. Luckily they had a pretty good house chili oil that helped a bit, but this is not a pho I’d like to have again. Spring rolls were acceptable, but definitely not good enough to order again. The market was a nice addition, and I will probably visit that side of the business again.

For a small town, this is the spot for pho!!! Went around noon so there weren’t any customers, we seated ourselves after 5minutes and it did take a while for the staff to come out and great us. Even though the eggrolls were extremely tiny compared to other places, they are filled with a lot of flavor! After our food came out, staff were nowhere to be found lol but no worries. I do recommend this place for its food.

What an unusual restaurant! As others have mentioned, the facade needs work, but the food was served very hot and so tasty! The unusual part is the huge nail polish display (see pic) paired with other retail items, and lots of paper products and stock taking up table space! (see pic) Somehow none of this seems to matter, as the service was excellent, and even though the dish I ordered had many ingredient substitutions, it was delicious.
The portion are generous, and the menu varied, making ordering a tough decision. This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be back to try out many other dishes!

Put in a take-out order of Pho and picked it up within 15 minutes, super fast service and the ingredients all being separated ensured the broth was still nice and warm when I got home. Loved that the extra sauces were also included so I could spice up the flavor of the broth a bit. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and flavorful and there were definitely enough noodles. However having tried many pho at other places this broth felt like it was missing… something? I have no idea what the taste is, but this is like 90% there. Something that has you smacking your lips where you can’t wait until the next bite, I only felt that way when I started mixing in the sauces.

Most dishes are fresh and tasty! There are a few items on the menu that we think could use improvement, or possibly more attention. We find this spot best for lunch time between 12-3pm.
There’s also a small market in the back with lots of options for snacks, food, meat, noodles, teas, etc etc etc. from different Asian countries that you wouldn’t normally find in stores around Roanoke.
They are short on help, but rarely ever get so busy that you may feel ignored. The cook and wait staff / host do a great job getting you everything you need.
Building is old, dated and in need of repair in just about every corner. Although they do a great job of keeping the eating areas clean. Bathrooms desperately need renovations.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The unassuming building might make you think they are closed but what’s inside is a great food! After trying pho a handful of times I thought it just wasn’t for me. A friend convinced me to give it one last try at Pho Viet Nam and I’m thankful he did. Seriously good and the broth was fantastic! I will be back and if you have tried the Pho here you are missing out!

I have heard about Pho on media but never had tried it. I drove by this location and decided to try Pho Viet Nam, and wow – I was surprised. Delicious, big bowl of noodle soup with fresh vegis on the side. I put them in the soup and enjoyed for the next 45 minutes. It was literally good to the last drop and I ate every bit. This dish had a very fresh light savory flavor from all the fresh ingredients. I highly recommend you try this. Enjoy.

Food was great had the chicken and fried rice. Service was good.
Came back 2 yrs later on business. Service was still good. Got chicken fried rice again and still tasted good. It is a no frills place.
The entrance is a little bit of a turn off and some furniture needs updating which is why i give it 4 stars

If you are looking for a tasty, hot, fresh, and delicious Pho- this place does it right! Classic and addictive flavor down to the last bite. The summer roles were tasty while the BBQ role was spot on – crispy bbq with a profoundly robust marinade and tantilizing dipping sauce. I will be back.

Want something to warm you up on a cold winter day? Get some Pho from Pho Viet Nam. I got the vegetarian Pho with tofu, added Sriracha and it was EXCELLENT!
