Penthouse Pizza: Where After‑Work Turns Into “Why Don’t We Do This More Often?”

Stopped in with a crew of coworkers after work, and Pinthuse Pizza delivered the kind of laid‑back, good‑vibes evening that makes you forget you were answering emails an hour earlier. We kicked things off with a dry Irish stout—smooth, roasty, and exactly the kind of pint that convinces you you’ve made excellent life choices.

The food lineup read like a greatest‑hits album of comfort: cheese pizza, warm pretzel, chips with salsa and queso. Every single thing hit the spot. The pretzel came out warm and soft, the pizza was classic and satisfying, and the chips with salsa and queso disappeared so fast we briefly considered ordering a second round just to prove we had self‑control.

Service was on point—friendly, fast, and never hovering. The whole place has that relaxed, easygoing atmosphere that makes you want to sink into your seat and stay awhile. Pint House Pizza is officially on the “after‑work go‑to” list.

Highly recommend. Five stars, no hesitation.

Brewery with killer pizza and great prices! We had the burros breakfast beer while visiting San Antonio and we were pleasantly surprised to find the brewery in our neck of the woods! We couldn’t wait to come get a 4 pack to take home and have lunch. We started with two pints of Burros breakfast of course and the chips, queso and salsa. The apps are good and priced very reasonably, you could come and get beers and apps without breaking the bank and leave full. We ordered the two seasonal pizzas as one pie, half n half. First, the fact that they let you do that with different sauces is so awesome! The Sgt. Pepper had a perfect balance of slightly sweet from the peppers, salty from the cheese and Calabrese sausage and a mild but lingering heat that made you want more. The true star and ended up being mine and my husband’s favorite, the all a’sprout it! Wow! Had everything we loved, Smokey from the bacon, but not too Smokey, crunch from the shaved Brussels sprouts, sweet and savory from the caramelized onions, mozzarella (we subbed mozzarella instead of goat cheese) and the balsamic reduction, but what set it over the top was the preserved lemon white sauce! So balanced and delicious! This is easily my favorite pizza I have ever had, my husband says it ties with another favorite and our daughter agrees with me, it’s now her favorite as well. Our daughter got the cannon ball in a small and we all had ranch and jalepeno ranch, phenomenal! We can’t wait to come back, everyone here was so nice and helpful and the atmosphere is very comfortable and laid back and everything is very clean.

I love pinthouse and was a frequent visitor to the south lamar location. I recently moved and didn’t realize they had one in round rock! I practically squealed when I saw the sign.

The Ooh La La is my go to favorite pie you gotta try this one.

Can I just brag on the staff though?! Young woman working the front recommended the lunch special was so sweet. Then food runners were so nice! Another young woman came by to give us to go boxes and the gentleman with the tie-dye head wrap continued to check on us. Thank you everyone, y’all are an awesome team.

Love the spacious layout and the aesthetics.

Just 10/10 love this place.

One of or favorite hangout places in North Austin. Good variety of both veggie and meat pizzas with the quintessential Pinthouse crust.
Plenty of draft beers and a couple of ciders are available.

The space is huge with plenty of seating space indoors but it can still get packed on weekends.

If I could give this four thumbs up, I would. The Del Villagio was delightful. I loved the nautical decor. The atmosphere was very relaxed
and the staff was informative and friendly. The cherry on top was the Rootbeer!

Ps. They have vegan and gluten free options!

If you like noisy and boisterous this is the place for you. Counter service for ordering your pizza and then a separate counter to order your drinks. There are only a few booths, otherwise you sit at one of the long tables in the center of the floor and share your table with others who also couldn’t find a booth.
The pizza was ok, the thin crust was kinda soggy so it was impossible to eat by holding the slice in your hand, so we had to ask for a knife and fork. Once we figured that out the pizza was quite tasty.
Also the beer selection was good, several small breweries had products available on tap and the board listing the beers also showed the alcohol % and the price for a 16oz glass. Nice.

First time visit here. Huge place serving their own beer. People watching different games on large TV screens.

We had a Vegetarian Pizza ( larger that other places) and beer mates. Both delicious

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 3 PM and were pleasantly surprised—no wait, but still a lively crowd, perfect for people-watching. The pizza was exactly what you’d expect from a good pizza joint—nothing over the top, but solid, fresh, and tasty. I forgot to snap a picture (too busy eating!), but trust me, it hit the spot. We also enjoyed sampling several of their craft beers, and every one we tried was a winner. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon, and we’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely the Best Pizza I have had in a long time! Went there after a basketball game with a group and it was the perfect setting. Plenty of tv’s with all the sporting events. Also I had the Waldorf salad and it was amazing. Great great place. I want to try more items on the menu!
