This is a hard review for and this is my first review on anything ever and I’m 40. I want to say first that the food was very good on all three of my visits, but three strikes you’re out. It’s sad because the little, but very important minor details will be the demise of this place. The first time the food was the best, the server complained a little too much, but over all it was ok. We liked the food so much that we went back a week later and had to send one of our meals back because the plate was dirty. Like scratch baked on food off dirty all around the rim. The black plates were also chipped with white gouges. The waitress had two tables, us and one other and she was bringing all of our food out at once spilling lemons and oil on to the floor. No one standing (and sitting) around was helping her and she was clearly overwhelmed with something. They comped the meal and gave us a 10$ gift card. I told him it was no big deal and we went back yet again for a one last shot. Well this visit sealed the deal. The loose lipped waitress from our first visit told us that the head cook who was dating the server that served us last time, fired her over the dirty plate (didn’t he plate it?) AND broke up with her! This third visit they brought me the wrong food and forgot my veggies. My friends coffee was so weak it looked like weak tea. By the time they remade my food I had to eat alone, my friend and husband had finished. They still charged us and I never got my broccoli the two chances they had to get my order right
either lol. So if you’re into a gossipy, stressful environment and you don’t mind dirty and damaged dishes, where the food is great, this is your place! I will say that when I go out to eat, the presentation is SO important to me, just like when I cook for my Italian family at home. Everything is clean and I throw away chipped plates. But maybe that’s just me. It’s sad because we really liked the food.

Don’t know how they can price the food so high when not good. Got the chicken parm and the chicken was hard. Like frozen chicken not fresh. Definitely not worth the price they charge. And the sauce…..not great either. Too sweet and shouldn’t have chunks of onion in it. Meatballs…..too many spices. Coming from an Italian family from Italy this does not represent that true Italians cuisine. Never again

We had a res for 9 at 6:30 , turns out it was given to a group that arrived before us..one WITHOUT A RESERVATION. WHAT? Didn’t the hostess ASK. Did she just ASSUME ( we all know the danger of that ) it was us? So it was 7 before our order was taken. No refils on drinks, asked for refills, only received half. Food came out after 60 minutes, except for one pasta, and a steak salad of all things, then the waitress dropped a pizza as she went to take it off the tray, which was on a stand . She could have used the empty end of our tattle and avoided needing to know how to distribute weight evenly. Had to ask for silverware 3 times ( the waitress made a ” joke” about how ” we don’t give silver, you just use your hands”, which could have been funny if she had then brought the silverware without needing to be reminded…again). It took 30 minutes for that pizza to be remade and a simple spaghetti dinner, ( apparently never ordered..and it SHOULD have been a memorable order as the customer had to ask the waitress ” doesn’t this dinner come with salad like the others?” ” you didn’t ask what dressing I wanted”)and STILL no refills offered!
The manager? Came to our table and at first seemed defensive about all the issues but did comp the dropped pizza right off the bat and after a bit of discussion, the pasta dinner that had been forgotten and only arrived after and hour! ( that steak salad? It hadn’t been ordered either but the customer cancelled it and just shared one of the pizzas.)
Waitress was rolling her eyes when we asked for separate checks.( did she think we were on a family outing and grandpa was gonna treat everyone? Of COURSE we needed separate checks)
From the first moment it was “I don’t know”(then offer to find out and come back with the answer, but no) or ” were out of that” ( turns out they weren’t , just needed to ask more people) or forgetting to respond to a request…and having to ask someone else…who thought the first person was doing it…result; having to ask twice more for ..everything.
Now it says this is ” under new management” so I hope they get the problems worked out soon. I have no doubt the waitress will either get it together or not be there next time. Sure everyone can have a off day, but attitude determines if they will learn and come back improved, or find different work. Her current attitude was to blame everyone else ( I know she has no control over the kitchen, but forgetting to enter orders completely and checking for refills and that requests are being attended to promptly Would go far towards making the wait for food less unpleasant for her customers)
Only good thing; food was actually good..nice light sauce on the veal piccata, the pizzas were tasty, everyone liked the warm fresh bread. No complaints on the quality of the food what so ever.
Final notes: when the manager came to our table to “apologize” for being “understaffed and unusually busy ( to go orders I assume as except for the aforementioned group, ours was the only occupied table) and still training people”, I fully expected he would at LEAST offer free desserts, or a steep discount..but no.
I took it upon myself to then go over to him and go over my disappointment in everything other than the food..and requested he comp my meal, which he did.
Tl/dr unless you are more tolerant of poor service and have at least 2 hours to kill before eating, order to go.

7-19-17 just to update: the manager has invited our group to come out again as his guest to prove that the first poor impression was a fluke. Our club has accepted his kind offer and we will post how it goes this second time around. I’m confident it will be great food and excellent service this time.
Stay tuned till next week for the update.7-26-17

The food was good but, overpriced. We came with a group of around 50 but, only had two waitresses. Took 45 minutes to get water and have our order taken and still my friend’s food was cold. They’ve done nothing to fix the place up or if they did it was so minor you couldn’t tell. Will give another chance to redeem themselves just not in a hurry to go back.

If I could give Tuscan more than 5 stars, I would! The food is phenomenal and so is the service with Simmi. He’s very charismatic and makes excellent recommendations. The portions are large and you can usually get 2 more meals out of your leftovers. I can’t wait to go back! It’s really a hidden gem of Willowick.

I was so disappointed my first time here the man that took our to go order took it in between his non work related phone conversation and as for the food, you don’t get your money’s worth. I was really excited to have an Italian restaurant right around the corner but I definitely won’t be back.

First time ever ordering here, placed as pickup. And lemme tell ya, i was greeted by very friendly people, took care of me and were nice. The food i ordered was correct, hot and delicious. Exactly what i had imagined my meal to be and more. The cooks there do a hell of a job. Next time i want italian, i know where im goin. (Plus its a family owned business.. to me thats a plus)

Great service and great food. And the price is not bad either – bread, salad, pasta and a glass of wine came out to be $14 and the portions were pretty big! Nice spacious interior, great place for a date night.

my boyfriend and I came in Friday night, it was pretty quiet. The waitress seemed a bit “new”. There was no pinot griogio and she wasn’t real sure what else there was, so I ordered a coke. My boyfriend got veal parm, and he said it was ok. I got the basil pesto pasta, it was less then enjoyable, it was dry noodles with basil sprinkled on top. I barely touched it and was told I would receive 50% off. The bill came, it was for two veal marsalas (we didn’t even order one….) my boyfriend was pretty frustrated at this point, as was I so we just paid it and left but will not be back.
