Pretty solid burger for the fair. If you aren’t getting grilled onions, you’re doing yourself a major disservice. The patty has a bit of a frozen taste to it and could use a bit more seasoning, and I wish they put even more grilled onions on top. The line can also get pretty long, with an even longer wait after you order. But as far as fair food goes, it’s a solid size and pretty satisfying.

The once great Earthquake burger has completely fallen apart. We found bone pieces in the meat on two separate burgers…and onions were almost no existent in any way, why in the world would people need to request more of them in a huge burger… McDonald’s has more onions on the basic cheap hamburger..that’s sad. Employees arent happy to have a job. My wife is done going to this spot during the fair after 30+ years

Earthquake has been the favorite stop at the The Fair every year for the last 9 years being in Washington. This year, 2025, there was so much grisle in the meat it was inedible. We threw away $100 worth of burgers (which is like 4 burgers) because very bite was an experiment of will it/won’t it. Super sad. Every other year is was excellent and id rate it a 5.

That was the worst burger ever for almost $20. 2 pieces of bread with meat in the middle. No sauce or condiments of any kind. 2.00 for cheese on top of it and 3.00 for a side of ranch. That place could be a money maker if you would add a few things to the burger. Melissa

I work at the fair, 2nd Earthquake burger I’ve purchased this year. Great burger but when I bought it tonight the employee shoved the burger in my hand and loudly said HERE. Was it me? Was he mad in general? Who knows, but it was rude.

The grilled onions are good, but they don’t put enough on the burger to be worth the expensive price. There are other stands at the fair that have burgers that are the same size with more grilled onions, for less money. Should not have to pay over $20 for a burger at the fair. I would go here again if they bring the price down to match the other places.

Big juicy burgers, I ask for extra onions since I love them! Can also ask for pickles on the burger, and share a burger with a friend or family member since they are huge. I can hardly finish one tbh. I shared one with my friend when I went, fries are also huge. They also set up their own tables next to the restaurant that are under cover where you can eat. The fair is a one time a year fun experience to have, and earthquake burgers is where I enjoy eating when I go.

I go to the Fair 2-3 times every fall (local) and this is the first place I eat at every time. I’ve been eating these religiously since the 80s and they look and taste exactly the same. You could always tell they use really good meat, very juicy and flavorful, not a nasty frozen, “sawdust” patty. I usually order a cheesequake with extra onions. Sometimes when the arteries are feeling extra naughty, I go for the extra cheese and bacon too—soooo good. The brick of fries are spectacular too. Everything is good here, including the staff who have very positive attitudes and are genuinely friendly. It’s also crazy to me that anyone complains about the size—they’re 1/2 lb!! I can eat A LOT and I can’t finish one of these especially if I want to eat other heart attack inducing delights while enjoying the fair. I bring the leftover burger to my dogs and they’re stoked too. I’ve turned all my friends onto these burgers too and everyone loves them. My friend ate an entire one and bought one to go since he wasn’t coming back to the Fair. People complaining are nuts this place and Sales Family Krusty Pups are the best things to eat at the Fair. Cant wait to come back next year!!!

Ordered a burger at Summercon. Burger was $17 and was only meat and bread, no veggies and the bun could have been toasted more. My son and I split it, so the size is a good value and the burger is flavored well. But for the price I want more than just bread and a patty.
