Its our go to thai place. Staff is so sweet and try really hard to make you feel at home. The taste of the food is why you will go back. I get a different curry almost every time – when im not ordering the half a duck or a seafood soup/stew.

Sarin Thai is hands down my go to spot in Greenvale and it never disappoints. It’s one of those places you can rely on for consistently good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere.
The lunch special is an absolute standout. It’s a great value and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’ve tried several dishes from the lunch menu and each one has been satisfying and well seasoned. It’s the kind of lunch that keeps you full and happy for the rest of the day.
The Thai tea here is also excellent. It’s rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, which makes it the perfect pairing with any meal. I honestly order it every single time because it’s just that good.
The staff really adds to the experience. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and attentive, and you always feel genuinely taken care of from the moment you walk in. It has that comfortable neighborhood feel that makes you want to keep coming back.
If you’re in Greenvale and looking for solid Thai food with a great lunch special and amazing Thai tea, Sarin Thai is absolutely worth visiting.

Sarin is a favorite place for us for lunch. It’s a pleasure to step into this peaceful zen atmosphere. The decor is lovely and every time I come there’s a plaque or statue that I haven’t noticed before that makes me realize I’m in a special place.
Special because the food, served by friendly waitstaff, is excellent. I have never had a meal here that disappointed.
This was once our regular Friday place for lunch with friends. COVID interrupted that schedule. We are so glad Sarin weathered the storm. Now we come whenever we want the best Thai food around.

This is the BEST Thai food in Long Island!
We’ve been coming here for two decades and always had the best meal.
Staff are so friendly and professional.

Pad Thai noodles, green curry, red curry.. all amazing. Lunch special is a crazy value- that comes with chicken soup or salad. Their chicken soup is the best chicken soup!

We tried dessert this time and it was so authentic.

We hope to come here to have authentic Thai food for many more years.

Don’t get me wrong the food here is amazing! However I if I had a dollar for every single time I had dirty silverware, a dirty glass or something in my food or drink I would probably have enough to purchase a free meal monthly. However as mentioned the food is usually very good and the service is typically good as well. If they could just clean this place up it would be a 4 to 5 Star place.

**Update**
I have since been back a number of times and have not had a single issue since post pandemic. I’ve been here I want to say maybe five times in the past year and every experience has been great. The food of course always the freshest and so delicious. The service has really been out of the park too…..I never have to call a waiter or waitress over. They are always so prompt. I brought my daughter here for the first time and she absolutely loved it. Everything has improved greatly since my original review. I am going to add more stars and post additional pictures of my last visit. This is the best Thai food I’ve had on Long Island.

The food was great and prices were reasonable. We ordered Thai Tea, Drunken Noodles, Spring Rolls, Curry and Rice. They were able to cater Jain food (no onion, garlic). Would definitely visit again when in the area. Staff is friendly too

The best Thai food, in all of NY I believe. Beats any place in NYC. My family has been coming here for over 20 years, and the quality and flavor is always consistent. The staff is incredible. Food is so so delicious. Just the kindest people and the best food you’d never be disappointed. Their fried ice cream is also to die for!!!

Been here a few times preCovid. Good to be back and the place hasn’t miss a beat. We came for lunch and was welcomed and seated right away. It was quite with 2 other tables of patrons. Light music in the background. Very comfortable.
We had chicken and beef satay, both were juicy and light enough to go perfect with the peanut sauce (and a small side pickled cucumber)
The lunch menu came with soup or salad and we opted for the chicken rice soup. It was quite a big portion considering it came with the lunch menu. It had enough chicken and rice, the broth was light and flavorful.
I had the Pad Tofu and love the brown sauce that is not thick. It went well with the rice. We also ordered the Chicken Mussamun curry. It has a light kick to it and the ingredients were fresh.
We will be back to try other items on the lunch menu.

I am in love with Sarin. Best Thai food EVER, and truly no other place can compare. So obsessed, I love the pad ka prow, but everything is good. I love their salad with a homemade peanut dressing, which is so delicious, like “bigger salad please” I eat my WHOLE meal when I come here. Seriously delicious! Took my Father here for Father’s day dinner and he LOVED it!!! He had the steam fish with brown rice. This place NEVER fails!

First I want to say I appreciate the staff here. They were very nice before and after the unfortunate event.

I thought this place was amazing to walk in. I loved the decor and was greeted by very nice people in the staff. They were very kind. I liked the chicken soup and loved the Thai ice tea. I was enjoying the Pad Kee Mao noodles until I noticed there was a BEE insect in them. Everything about this place was perfect until that moment. I’m slightly traumatized but I understand accidents do happen m.
