Food was prepared with pride and love. I can tell by how pretty the dishes were presented. And then how each dish had a unique flavor. My wife had Cashew Chicken. The vegetables were colorful and crisp. The taste of chicken was present in each bite. I had Pork Green Curry. The curry and coconut milk provided such a smooth delicious bite.

The service was superior with a smiling waitress eager to please. Food was cooked and served promptly.

The atmosphere was suddle with gentle piano music playing in the back ground. We easily were able to talk and relax.

I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic meal.

Small and very cozy place and I liked the atmosphere. The server was very friendly. I ordered a take out. I tried Pad Thai. The presentation was great. The color was very pale pink ( usually it’s pinkish color but it was different) and had never seen this color in Phad Thai. The flavor was very bland and I could not tell what was missing. I might go back at some point but I will not order Pad Thai.

Wonderful place to eat. Food was absolutely deliciously. I had the N6. Banh Hoi. Food was served quickly, freshly prepared as it should be and a visual treat as well.
While in my opinion the food was fabulous – the service was a large part of the lovely experience. Since we arrived after the lunch crowd we were able to spend some time talking with the owner Son ( not sure this is correct spelling) and his family. This was a treat for me.
The atmosphere felt like the “mom and pop” place with excellent food and great personal service. The physical space was clean and adequate.
The menu was quite varied and provided lots of great choices.
Definitely worth the time and effort to travel to if you are in the Austin/Lago Vista area. It’s a treat especially if you love Asian food.
Hoping to get back before we head back home.

Another local gem.

I’m grateful there are multiple good local places to choose from. I’ve visited Saigon Cafe twice now and will definitely be back. So far I have only tried the Tom Yum soup, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, and the Summer rolls. They’re all excellent and it’ll be hard to choose something different but I look forward to trying more of the menu.

New favorite: Num Tok

This place is incredible! I come here all the time with my boyfriend and we always get the Tom Kha and the special rolls, and then try a new entree. The steak salad and the ginger curry chicken have been two of our favorites so far. It is a lovely family owned place and the owners are always so kind and go above and beyond to provide great service. I wish I could give this place 100 stars, I always look forward to eating here and trying something new on the menu!

My boyfriend and I went to Vietnam a few months ago so we were eager to eat some Vietnamese food again. The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious! Wonderful service as well! Will be making this a regular spot. Highly recommend the banh hoi and crab rangoons!

Gems are usually found underground, but this one is quite the opposite. Saigon is a perfect example of a restaurant that has both a family/homely feel and amazing authentic food for a fair price. All of the Pho is absolutely amazing, and you can get a big bowl of it for $14 or $15! Although I’m just a student that can’t always afford to eat out, I never hesitate or question spending money at this place. Infinity/10, and I will continue to keep coming back year after year.

Get there before the rush, it always gets super packed around 6-7.

I recently moved to Hudson Bend and was hopeful this would be a great option for take out. What a disappointment! I ordered the Combination Fried Rice and Crab Rangoons for a total price of $26.76. The fried rice was bland and flavorless. There were only three shrimp, which still had their tails on, only a few pieces of chicken and I couldn’t find any other meat. That was bad enough, but the container only had a small portion in it. Take a look at the photo. That’s the way I received my meal. It barely filled half the container. The crab Rangoons weren’t anything special either. I ended up tossing the fried rice in my frying pan and adding butter and soy sauce to give it some flavor. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.
