I stopped in after visiting the Railroad Museum. The pork relanos omelet was delicious. Very cute and quirky decor. A small business that is definitely worth checking out.

We stopped in for a late breakfast on a midweek morning, and the place was quiet enough to get seated and served quickly, with ample parking down the side street. It was cool and clean inside, with nice decor, and the server was friendly. The food was good – simple and homely, and the coffee was decent too with cool terracotta style mugs! If we’d have been in town longer, I would’ve visited again for an evening meal as some of the dinner offerings sounded good.

Southwest Diner is an absolute gem! Their egg dishes are always cooked perfectly—fresh, flavorful, and full of Southwestern flair. The avocado toast is amazing too, super fresh with great toppings. I also love that they have huge options on the menu, so there’s always something new to try. And the beer selection? Surprisingly great! Awesome spot for breakfast, brunch, or just hanging out. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome! The moment we drove by and look at the astetics we both thought let’s check it out. I’m glad we did because we were greeted with exceptional service with the choice to sit inside/outside. We chose outside, it was a nice break from Vegas in this small town with views of main street while we sat and enjoy the atmosphere of this cozy diner. When our food arrived things only got better, everything we order was delicious! We highly recommended this place if your in the area.

Very nice diner before heading to the Grand Canyon West Side from Las Vegas. Ideal place to get breakfast before driving 2.5 hours. Established in 1992, it is a great local experience. Eggs, pancakes and banana bread were fantastic!

Fabulous late breakfast after stumbling out of Vegas after noon to explore Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire.
The special I ordered was phenomenal tasting and filling and my server was lovely enough to recommend some local spots to take photos when I asked. Thanks, Southwest Diner, hope you enjoy the photo!

Excellent Breakfast Stop on the Way to Hoover Dam
I had a great breakfast at Southwest Diner in Boulder City on my way to Hoover Dam. They offer a good selection of both American and Mexican dishes to suit any taste.
The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the service is awesome. Our server, Susie, was extremely friendly and made the experience even better.
I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast if you’re heading to Hoover Dam – you won’t be disappointed!

Was amazed for the warm welcome and friendly hospitality, our server Irma knows very well the menu like her husband is a chef at the kitchen, can’t be better!! Food was well prepared and the plates big enough. Coffee could be stronger to my taste. Overall we left content and full.
