I did a random stop at this place for a quick lunch and it was definitely a good stop. Ordered a small pepperoni and hot peppers pizza. Thin crust, light, and fluffy. Pepperoni wasn’t too greasy and the hot peppers were very fresh. I was blown away by the quality of this pizza. This will be a normal stop for me anytime my work brings me through Monroe. 8.9 out 10

This little restaurant let me tell you it is such a sweet spot! From Antonio, who is just cheerful and kind and thoughtful to the delicious food that they cook it is all just a nice a really nice experience. With both dining and delivery one of the deliveries we took one of the specials and some other food and they forgot the pizza they closed and I called and left a message and they call me back. This is like a half hour after they had already closed, the owner went back , made a pizza, and then brought it to us and said “we are so sorry” and let me tell you that was incredible! I mean who does that most places would be like oh well we’ll just give you a credit for next time, but not at Nonna’s! They went out of their way to make it right
As I said, this is a sweet spot a very special little place, I am so grateful for it and I know my family is as well! Specially, our youngest child who is a Pizza lover and we have no idea how that happened .

We stopped for Pizza before going to the Warren Occult Museum! My (very picky) boyfriend and I loved the pizza! very friendly staff and delicious food, would recommend!

Friendliest staff ever. We ate there and everything was brought to us. Their menu provides coupons so we ended up getting free garlic knots with our order. The garlic knots were so good! I got the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken as my meal. They did not skimp out on the chicken and it was probably the best fettuccine I’ve ever had. Very cheesy and garlicky. The portion was HUGE. I brought more than half home. Prices were more than fair. Overall amazing experience and I’m already planning my next visit!

This place was actually stumbled upon by accident, however so by coming here, its small, and there are very few people that were even inside.
We ordered a pepperoni pizza, meatball sub and french fries And it was absolutely amazing and that is a statement especially coming from me. I usually don’t do reviews, but I’m doing one right now. If you ever happen to come to this place, I am telling you will have one of the best slices of pizza even downtown New Haven isn’t on the par of and that in itself means a lot.
The chef was even so kind. He brought all of our plates and utensils over they even brought our pizza to the table, which was very kind.

Their pizza is amazing! We have tried a ton of places in Monroe and we have settled happily on Nonna’s as the best. We have also tried the Nonna Burger and other grinders and have not been disappointed! We also like the staff.

I actually really love this pizza out of everyone in Monroe. My only issue was that recently I ordered the nonnas pizza and it was changed (the size and the thickness). It was not the same from the first time I got it and that was disappointing. Other than that. It’s a good spot in this area.

I walked in with low expectations and a big appetite, so take this review with a grain of salt. We were planning to go to Nunnu’s, but since they were closed on Sunday, we ended up here. I had the Nonna’s salad, and my daughter got a slice of pepperoni pizza. No complaints—the salad was generous, and the pizza looked like your typical slice joint fare. I was pleasantly surprised with the salad and fresh bread that came with it, and the service was friendly. It’s always nice to have a new spot in the area. Pizza was ok, but my daughter was happy with it. I’d definitely come back for a quick bite in a bind.

I can only attest to the pizza since I’ve never eaten anything else from Nonna’s but the pizza is really good! The crust has a good flavor and the fact that they do their own delivery is a huge plus. The customer service they provide is exceptional! Hopefully they’ll be around for a long time!
