Food was served hot and cooked well. The flavor was good. Standard menu options. Was surprised at the quality of service. Our table was doing quite a bit of talking and not focused on ordering right away. The server was very accommodating and gave us time and space to visit. The server was very prompt on returning to the table, without being flagged down, when we had decided on food. When the server engaged with us they were friendly, chatted, and very jovial. The atmosphere was a bit dark, the decor was dated, there were two very large televisions on one wall. For a small town hole-in-the-wall, greasy spoon, I recommend trying this place out.

I go to Kelly’s Cafe almost every weekend. I love the Sunday buffet. The service is great and the food is amazing. Its good old home cooked meals from scratch that you just can’t pass up. A must try!

Clean and food was good. Waitress was very rude and not just too our table, but she was sweet as can be to a table of men…perhaps regulars. Friend asked what something on the menu was. Instead of asking the cook her response was “I don’t know” and the shrugged her shoulders. Very off putting way to start the visit. We ordered a cheeseburger pizza and it looked nothing like the photo. Appeared we got a beef pizza. Oh well. Worked for a quick bite in an area with no options. Although we went off course to come eat here due to no food options.

Wow tried to support local business but never treated as poorly. Wouldn’t tell us what was on buffet…have to look she said. Asked about breakfast…she got mad and said it’s a full menu. We walked out. NOT a Chamber of Commerce experience in Humboldt!

My sweet sisters by heart had me spending the night (watching horror movies and playing PlayStation horror games) at their home in Humboldt, NE for my 36th birthday and we got our dinner from this cafe and it was the best Burger and onion rings I’ve ever had! Made my birthday even more special. I will definitely be coming back for more when I visit my friends Humboldt.

Absolutely delicious home cooked food. Everything is made from scratch. Great service , friendly atmosphere. Highly Recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try the Pizza , heard it was awesome !. And of course have another amazing Cinnamon Roll.

Went there the 16 of Oct. to try their buffet. It was a joke. They only had a few items on the buffet. They charge you $14.95 pure person to eat there. You don’t see the price on the menu. To high for the price and small selection of food they offered. To high of prices for a small town. Won’t be back. Fair warning take alot of cash with you to eat there. Our bill was around 50 for 3 people. 2 adults and a child. So terrible.

Really enjoyed their hand breaded tenderloin! Service was great and old Legion Club essentially still looks the same, minus a bar. It’s worth a try if you are in Humboldt.
