the ramen was really good! they have a fun ordering system, many customization options! they split our bowl into two when we told them we were sharing, which we’ve never had anyone do before. it was so thoughtful. the straight noodles were really good! i do recommend blowing on your soup before eating, i definitely burnt my mouth a bit from the hot spicy oil as i was too excited lol.

it was such a friendly, tasty place!

At HIDE-CHAN RAMEN, our ramen starts with a slow-simmered tonkotsu broth, cooked for hours to achieve a deep, creamy richness without heaviness.

We use traditional Hakata-style thin noodles — firm, springy, and designed to perfectly hold the broth. Every element, from soup to noodles, is balanced for clarity, depth, and comfort.

Rooted in Hakata tradition and refined through decades of craftsmanship, our ramen is honest, rich, and deeply satisfying — made the HIDE-CHAN way.

I tried Kashiwa Ramen for the first time and went with the black garlic ramen with chicken broth—absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the black garlic added just the right depth. The noodles had a great bite, and everything came together perfectly.

Service was excellent too—attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy.

Overall, a great ramen spot that hits all the marks: flavor, consistency, and solid service. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Kashiwa is a cozy little ramen place. Here, you order ramen by filling out a sheet of choices for type, broth, protein, noodles, taste, and toppings. The ramen prices were on the order form. The menu was more for reference. The ramen was pretty good. We also loved our server. She was friendly and super sweet whenever we ask for anything.

Pro Tip: For taste, don’t choose the lite option for broth, especially for miso. I made this mistake and the broth came out pretty plain and diluted with little flavor. My partner got normal and it was much better.

* Karaage 4.5/5 – The fried chicken came out piping hot and fresh. The outside was crispy and scrumptious. The inside was super juicy. It was a bit light in flavor, though. You will want to dip it in the accompanying sauce which was a combination of sweet chili sauce and a sauce that looked like spicy mayo (but lighter and not as good).

* Spicy Miso Ramen 5/5 – The normal spicy miso ramen had great flavor. It came with a half boiled egg, bean sprouts, corn, and butter on the side. The spiciness was between mild and medium. Get the wavy noodles. They’re thicker than the straight noodles, so there’s more of a bite. The chashu pork was thinly cut and had a charred flavor while still being tender.

Absolutely love this place and it is my go-to for ramen! I don’t eat pork and miss out on the flavor of the broth but they do a killer black garlic ramen. Food comes out quick and is delicious! Has a cozy feel to it and is a lowkey spot that should be more mainstream! Fire!

Best ramen I’ve had in a while!
The broth, sides, and meat were all delicious. I got the original spicy ramen broth with chicken, plus two appetizers — gyoza and chicken with rice — and a pitcher of Sapporo. Everything hit the spot! Great food, great vibes. Highly recommend this place!

Ordered spicy black mushroom ramen and was very delicious. One of the best ramen I have had. Quick service. Great atmosphere. The fries were surprisingly tasty. Some of the best fries I have tried. I would recommend this place.

Ordered gyoza and a mini karaage bowl for appetizers and tonkatsu ramen and Malatang ramen (seasonal dish) for our main dish. They said the malatang ramen is very spicy (think buldak) but they made a mild (but still a little spicy) version for us since we weren’t sure if the regular version would be too spicy. All the food was delicious; we will return and try the malatang without modifying the spice level and definitely re-order the gyoza. Service was good, but the number of tables are limited so you may have a wait on busy nights.
