Stopping here was such a treat! First of all, the staff are just so friendly and amazing. They are well trained, but still personable. Everything came out quick, but nothing felt rushed.
I had to try something special, so I got the spicy chicken and waffles and it was amazing. Everything about it was perfect and I loved that I still got pickles with it. Speaking of, the fried pickles are to die for! Crispy but packed with flavor, and the breading doesn’t just come off at the slightly touch.
I wish I lived closer bc I would come here all the time if I could!

An experience for any one that enjoys chic fila. We appreciated the new items on the menu and the atmosphere alone was worth the stop.

We absolutely love Truett’s Grill! My daughter looks forward to coming here every time we visit family in the area. The food is always delicious, and the service is outstanding. Exactly what you’d expect (and more!) from Chick-fil-A. Mr. Jim is awesome and always makes us feel so welcome. The IceDreams are quite literally the best! This location has such a friendly, family atmosphere and consistently great food and service. We’ll keep coming back again and again!

June 16, 2025. This is a slightly better Chick-fil-A than normal. They have some special items only found here, plus a sit-down service area with waitresses. Our food was good and the service was great. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping in for a bite.

I ordered the Chick-fil-A Skillet at lunch time. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My skillet tasted great but was very light on chicken. I think there were maybe 3 or 4 very small pieces of chicken. It may be equated to one chicken nugget. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Stumbled across this Truett’s Grill while on a road trip and we couldn’t have gotten more lucky. This is a fantastic Chick-fil-A with excellent staff (as may do), impeccably clean on the inside (as many are), but even better is the added charm and menu items that come with it being “Truett’s Grill”. We got one of all of the limited menu items (crispy brussels, sweet potato souffle, hot Brown, fried okra, banana pudding, and fried peach pie). The sweet potato, brussles, and okra were the biggest hits with my family (including two young kids). The banana pudding was decent and the fried peach pie would have been better if it were crispier. The weakest of the menu items was the hot brown. It’s an interesting menu items, having had a hot brown from its founding city of Louisville, I appreciated Chick-fil-A’s take on it, but it was lacking, too saucy, without enough chicken, and certainly worth over $10. I would definitely pass on this and get the Brussels and sweet potato souffle instead.

Of course the customer service at any Chick-fil-A is the gold standard. But Hunni, why do they have UNLISTED menu items here? OMG! Chicken & Waffles, Brussel Sprouts, GRITS , FRIED peach pie (how Georgian!) I literally was losing my breath as the order-taker talked. Like WHY? This is good to be my regular stop when traveling 75S thru McDonough. Sam’s club gas is RIGHT ✅️ there…. ➡️ also. DIRECTLY OFF THE I75 S.

We tried their loaded fries and breakfast skillet. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow on that side but other than that it was a great stop.
The themeing is cute, everything was clean.

I am a huge CFA fan. And I really enjoy the expanded menu that the Truett’s CFA has. They serve an elevated breakfast all day. They also have an expanded option for sides including my favorite of Brussels sprouts and sweet potato soufflé.
The reason I am writing this review is because of the service. We have never had bad service here but today I had an exceptional server named Craig. It is the day after Christmas and the restaurant was busy including Craig but he was hands down amazing. Honestly one of the best servers I have had at any restaurant.

McDonough is a very friendly town and i like coming here.
Got here at about 11 am. The restaurant was fairly empty (12 people at most) and the drive through was not busy, but inside had many dirty tables and seats.
The manager was walking around picking up napkins. He got his folks together and immediately rectified the issues.
No place is perfect and it’s the leadership that makes the diference. He’s definitely on top of things.
