Yes! Finally a local place with great Italian…you need to eat here! The food is excellent and service is great. I love the pizza..especially the fresh sicilian/neopolitan crust and fresh ingredients on top! It dances on your taste buds and leaves a fresh olive oil/marinara flavor. Yum! Kids and husband love the pasta dishes. And we all love the warm, fun, atmosphere with the music, brick walls and fireplace! If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy with family, this is it!❤️

If you’re in Alamosa, do yourself a favor and eat at this restaurant. Best authentic New York pizza-it was perfection especially that thin, crispy crust!! Do it! The pastrami sandwich also looked incredible.Authentic Long Island food!

My first experience having a fresh slice of pizza was a 5 star experience. The second visit resulted in an update to my review
The first visit review: The pizza is delicious and very light and fresh. They even keep their parmesean cheese fresh by keeping it chilled. Clean spacious atmosphere and great customer service.
The second visit the pizza slices was cold and it tasted like what cardboard looks like. I am shocked it’s not consistent. Did not enjoy it at all. If that happened the first time I would not have come back nor would I have bring someone with me. We both was very disappointed.
If you come here only eat the slices when they are freshly made otherwise find someone to share their whole 19inch pizzas as that’s the only size they sell.

Being a native New Yorker for 19 years, I was excited to visit this restaurant during my visit in Alamosa. My first impressions were nice, the atmosphere is quaint, but being critical that this is a “pizzeria” as claimed in the name of the restaurant (it says “‘pizza’”) it certainly lacks the qualities of a NY/NYC parlor. I won’t let that take away too much from the restaurant actually being really nice. (Attached is a photo claiming that this establishedment aims to create “New York Style Pizza)
The service was ok, I was stared down by the man struggling to form the dough into a circle, he succeeded at forming it into a wide obelisk-half circle which was disappointing because it was the same shape of my cheese pizza. There was no rush, or line or anything, so the quality of the pizza was a complete reflection of employee competence – poor.
The pizza overall wasn’t poorly flavored, but the shape, and patches of holes and horribly shaped dough made it uncooked, and burnt in some places.
(I also added a crazy good photoshoot to my review, I found it hilarious.)

We stopped in while on vacation. They make a pretty good take on NY style pizza – I have had pizza in NYC that tasted very similar. The former theater that houses the restaurant is an interesting environment.

Had meatball appitizer. They were so good we ordered the meetball pizza. DELICIOUS!! The riccotta was great, the mozzarella chewy, and the crust was great to munch on! Great classic rock in the background. Highly recommend.

While in town my daughter recommended My Brothers Place. They offer pizza, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches and salads and of course the bar. After going through the menu with our waitress we decided on the Sicilian pizza, by her recommendation. We were at a loss for words when our pizza came out! It was enormous! As delicious as it was, we ended up having to take most of it with us! That’s ok though, pizza breakfast is amazing! The atmosphere was nice, and the building itself was incredible! Beautiful wood and brick all around! We couldn’t have asked for better service either! Most definitely a go to if you’re in town! We’ll be back!

Our go to place when we’re in the San Luis Valley! Amazing pizza, fresh hot subs, friendly service, and so much more. And you definitely can’t beat the ambiance. The interior is completely remodeled but still has it’s original charm. Do not miss this place if you are ever in the Alamosa area!
