I went to Freddy’s in Ennis for a Large Turtle Sunday and was very disappointed!!! This is what was giving to me for $7.58. I went inside to ask if that was all the ice cream I get for the price I paid and the guy says “yes that’s 3 scoops for a large” I will NOT be going there again.

First time at Freddy’s. We were in Ennis, TX, having work done on our car, so decided to try Freddy’s.
Excellent. Hubby and I both got the double burger with bacon meal. I subbed onion rings (beer battered) for fries and we split the fries and onion rings between us. So very good.
Also got a small order of cheese curds. Very good as well.
So next time in Ennis will lunch there again.

The food was hot and delicious. There was an error with one of our custards and it was fixed promptly. The sweet tea was fresh and definitely sweet! I always stop here when I’m traveling to Dallas.

I just had Freddy’s for the first time from this location, and I was a bit disappointed with the meal. I was very excited to try this place as my mom had raved about it being very good. I ordered a burger with chili, and there was barely any chili on it. I (and my partner) also ordered a shake with added ingredients. Both shakes were straight liquid (consistency similar to regular milk); not sure if the shake machine was broken, but i had never had a shake that liquidy. There were also just a few crumbs of the ingredients I ordered for my shake (reese’s, butterfinger). I ended up just pouring it out as I just couldn’t enjoy it. Feels like $30 waisted.

I really enjoyed Freddy’s! The steak burger idea was not only different but tasty. I enjoyed the cheese curds but did not try the custard. I will definitely come back so that I can try it. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it is just another fast food joint atmosphere but was more open and friendly. I would recommend anyone interested in trying something new to try Freddy’s.

We discovered Freddy’s a few years back while out on a road trip. It was exciting to get the new one here close to home. The food is very good. The frozen custard is fantastic. It is not a very large menu but enough choices to have an enjoyable meal.
