First, we had to wait for our table outside the restaurant. I cannot remember ever having to do that before. I have waited at the bar in the restaurant, I have been given a pager and asked to return when the pager goes off but I have never stood outside on the street waiting for a table.
The first table we sat at was for four people but two men sitting side by side would barely have fitted. It was too small.
The waiter was lacked any charm or professionalism. I asked him (in arabic) to wait for a minute while I chose my food expecting him to leave and come back but instead he hovered over me impatiently.
The restaurant was busy and they just wanted to get us in and out so they could take the next diners. Again, I have never experienced that before. I have eaten at restaurants that have set a time limit for the table which they did when I booked, which was fine. I’ve just never been rushed like that before by the waiters. It was unpleasant.
The food was good but overpriced. Fifteen US dollars for a 180 gram steak, in Egypt, is a tad absurd.
The decor was dated. Rather like a Beefeater restaurant in England in the 1970’s.
I wouldn’t go again.
But Salads are so underrated.. people dont give enough credit to Salads at Sizzler, they use top quality ingredients, and incredible dressings.
That place is very neat and convenient, staff are friendly, but nosy! I wish they dont come and ask me about the quality of the food whilst eating! and remove the plates immediately if I paused eating, even though I didnt finish yet! But, maybe it’s protocol.
Smoking area is so close to nonsmoking, and it is terrible!!
People there make a lot of noise when they gather as groups.. I get that.. but it ruins the experience.
I had a problem there once, but I dont recall what happened..
finally, Sizzler is a great restaurant, you cant argue with that, the just need a better staff.
The Cheese Madness dessert at Sizzler is rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The cheese flavor is indulgent without being heavy, making it a very satisfying dessert. A great choice if you’re in the mood for something comforting and delicious
The ambiance is enhanced by pleasant music, and the menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, including seafood, chicken, and meat. That said, their specialty is undoubtedly the steaks, particularly the tenderloin and filet mignon. They also offer a wide variety of sauces, with the brown mushroom sauce being a personal favorite.
As for starters, the nacho cheese is an excellent choice, and the avocado shrimp salad is a standout dish. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. While the prices are on the higher side, they are reasonable given the quality of ingredients and the overall experience.
Staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful.
Their chicken shrimp a la crème is a must try!
They also have baby high chair, although the place is full of stairs which is not babies or kids friendly awi…
– Creamy Chicken Soup: Delicious and rich, but the chicken could be more seasoned.
– Pesto Pasta: It’s fantastic beyond description; I couldn’t find any flaws in it.
– Creamy Pasta: Among the dishes I tried, it was the least impressive. The taste was not as rich as I expected.
– Steak: The star of the meal without a doubt, whether it’s medium-rare or well-done. The taste of the meat is amazing, and the texture is delightful in the mouth.
– Sauces: I tried the pepper-mushroom and garlic sauces, and both were fantastic.
In addition to all of that, what completed the experience was the ambiance of the place! The place is indescribably beautiful, with a calm and soothing lighting. It’s so inviting that I believe it could host a romantic dinner without any prior preparations.
