We came across this place as an alternative and were presently suprised on the great brunch, and terrific home style cooking.
I went with the Cajun omelet and my wife had the crab cake Benedict. My omelet was filled with cheese, sausage, onions and tomatoes. So flavorful!
The Sunday biscuits were fresh and great with a little strawberry jam.
I went with the cheese grits as recommended by our server for my side. Yummy!
My wife could not finish her Benedict as it was so rich and a lot of food. 2 heaping mounds on biscuits with hashbrown on the side.
Old down to earth style with a New Orleans flair! Our server was very helpful in making our choices.
Muhammad our server was amazing, customer service is everything to me and he was exceptional.
He was attractive, he made sure we had everything we needed, and anything we didn’t like he exchanged it for us.
I can’t wait to return here the next time I’m in New Orleans.
Thank you Muhammad for making our experience amazing.
Food here is great, prolly best gumbo ever. Etouffe was DELISH. Shrimp and grits with bacon are so good.
Shoutout to Ebony’s service. Her smile and vibe made our day greater.
Haha, this was some of the worst chicken that I’d had in my entire life!!!! Chicken was tiny and mostly consisted of crisp, and the meat was tough and shriveled. Felt like I was eating a plate of fried bread crumbs with some chicken jerky.
The jambalaya and shrimp/grits were fine, nothing to rave about though.
The best part of the meal was our server, Nicholas. He is a gent and good waiter. If I had to pick between a good meal with a bad server or a good server with a bad meal, I’d prefer the latter. But I shouldn’t be picking either or, should I?
Pancakes were a hit as well.
The iced tea had a funky flavor.
