On top of the amazing food, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Shawarma Box is definitely a go-to spot for delicious, satisfying meals. Highly recommended! ✨
Food: We ordered a combo meat shawarma. The meat was served cold , so we asked them to fix it. The taste was below average, and the sandwich portion was tiny compared to the price. Overall, the shawarma tasted below average and wasn’t worth the price.
Service: The front lady was friendly and professional.
Price: It was pricey compared to the portion served. I could find better and cheaper combo shawarma from a nearby place.
Parking: Plenty of parking space.
Overall, this was a below-average experience, and I doubt I will visit again.
Onto the food, service and overall experience. Soon as we walked in, headed to the cashier area picking up a menu. Everything seemed ok up until we were greeted. The man greeted us in the Arab traditional way with us responding back the same. My friend told the man it’s our first time and asked what’s popular. That’s where things immediately went downhill. The man just seemed soo unbothered with a very bland answer. Which we both thought was kinda rude. Keep in mind we were the only 2 people in the entire shop so nothing was in the way of giving us a better first impression..but instead a very dull response. Every other new shop I’ve been to, owners were beyond friendly, would give detailed information about dishes with excitement. Hey maybe it’s just a new experience for everyone but hospitality is a big deal in customer service and you want the customers to feel the excitement of any newcomer on the block..that was all totally missing while visiting this shop.
Once we put our order through, we headed to a booth to wait for our food. I order the chicken shawarma bowl while my friend order the shawarma combo. 10 minutes later, we get called to pick up our food from the counter. Everything was fresh off the grill. Food was presented messy as you see in the pictures. Tbh, nothing special here in my experience and opinion of course. Food was very average and low quality . Had some dry pieces of chicken, and very little amount of meat for a chicken bowl dish. Was quite disappointed being that 90% of my bowl was practically a salad. My friends shawarma sandwich was similar low quality and had the same thoughts about the food being of very low quality.
Overall, I’m glad this was our first time coming in and we won’t be coming back. I’m trying to be honest as possible and our expectations were just not met nor left with a good impression. Note to the owner, I’d highly recommend having employees being more enthusiastic about being there and make your customer first impressions more enjoyable vs bland attitudes. Really don’t like calling out shops this way but overall..nothing passed the vibe check. I’d also recommend putting garbage cans in the dining room. We looked around for one and none were around. Found that to be the oddest part. Lastly, probably being a little picky here but the right utensils would’ve made it way more convenient with eating a chicken bowl that had rice. Was difficult to enjoy my food when eating it with a fork.
