This is a large establishment, dim lighting, decorated really festive! We sat down for the first time and had dinner. We were not drinking, but we noticed they have large margaritas. Next time I come I’ll try a peach margarita.
I ordered a fajita platter, chicken and beef to die for they come with three tortillas. You can mix a match whatever you would like. ! You definitely need more than three tortillas. My husband ended up getting Birria tacos, huge and insanely fantastic as well. The rice and beans were moist, fluffy flavorful, and I had a side of refried beans with some cheese melted on top. We will definitely be back. The service was impeccable we had Brandi. She gave us some great suggestions. They also have a large wraparound bar.

Food was absolutely delicious! The street tacos were very good! One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been too in a while. I tried the chicken, carne asada and lengua street tacos and loved every bite. The tacos look small but they were very filling. My only critique is that diablo sauce was very spicy. I’m not sure if they had anything spicier, but I would love a spicier hot sauce option. My wife had Camarones Los Cabos and normally she is very picky and would get a shrimp quesadilla, but this dish did not disappoint! The flan was very good, but instead of the chocolate sauce around the dish, caramel sauce would be better. The strawberry cheesecake tasty as well.

Ambiance and service was impeccable. The food however, was unseasoned & grocery store quality. For the gorgeous interior & prices, the food was beyond lackluster, and as a white person I needed to take it home and reheat it w/ seasoning and other sauces to feel that I got my money’s worth. To their credit, the portion size was generous and the street corn presentation was absolutely darling, I just had one bite and it was corn in a cheese soup with no spice – its a pass for me.

Fantastic place! From the decor to the staff to the food, this place was great! Tried the burrito and fajitas and both were excellent. The prices are a little high but the quality is there. The bar area is very large with comfortable chairs. Great drinks! Will be back.

Food was delicious. Presentation of each plate was nice. Had a table of 6 that ordered a variety of dishes. Also ordered a pitcher of coconut Margheritas. Service was polite. Interior was unique and inviting mixing in modern elegance. Never felt rushed. Will go back for sure.

In stark contrast, the chicken and steak were seasoned with bold herbs and spices, and cooked perfectly. The saltiness of the chorizo paired well with the rice. The shrimp was overcooked rendering them chewy, but edible.
THE VALUE:
Excellent value considering portion size and quality of ingredients. Although the dish is for one, it can easily feed 2 adults- you’ll just need extra tortillas.

Nice aesthetic and clean atmosphere. Decent margarita and service. Food portion was insanely large and fresh but unfortunately lacking in flavor. Would consider giving it another try, but not my first choice for Mexican food.

The attentiveness and care that we received specially from Amy and the young manager is bar none. The service and consideration that my special needs brother received on his 50th birthday was tender and humane. My brother is nonverbal, however he did show appreciation and enjoyment of the delicious food. Once again, thank you so much. I will definitely comeback and will be our mandatory stop.

Since the first time we discovered and ate at Santa Madre in Randolph we were hooked! To begin, it’s both conveniently located on Mazzeo Drive and a pleasing and comfortable decor.
From the attentive wait staff to the charismatic management to the deliciously crafted margaritas (Ultimate) and the best carnitas on the South Shore, this establishment has it all!
I have also tried the Norte Tacos, carnitas of course!) with guacamole and the lunch fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp all so pleasing to the eyes and the taste buds!
Don’t forget to end with a dessert, the flan and the churros melt in your mouth-happiness coma!
