Chow Time Buffet on Commercial in Fort Lauderdale is super duper delicious. Fresh sushi, salad bar, wonderful and popular Asian dishes. Fast, friendly service. There’s nothing like it anywhere. Definitely 5 ⭐’s.

King’s Super Buffet in Lauderhill is 10000% better.
The food wasn’t hot (even when they brought out the fresh/new servings) and the overall taste of everything was subpar. The options here are ok, but all weren’t labeled accurately/correct placement. The waiter barely refreshed my drink unprompted. The seating/booths felt cheap. First n Last time going here for sure!!

Chow Time in Tamarac is a great affordable option for large groups or families. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and well-kept, with friendly and efficient service that makes dining here easy and pleasant.
While the food isn’t particularly flavorful or high-quality, it’s consistent, fresh, and there’s a good variety to choose from—especially for the price. Overall, a good value spot when you want something convenient, casual, and budget-friendly.

I just finished lunch and here is the bottom line:
1. The restaurant is nicely decorated and new *****.
2. The service is fast and friendly *****.
3. If you love shrimp done just about every way imaginable *****.
4. Hibachi is *****.
5. Chicken selections *****.
6. They lose a star because although the sushi **** looks very appetizing, the rice is not seasoned and not sticky. I would do less rolls and put more effort into preparing it better even if it means reducing the number of choices. Keep it simple.
Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and recommend it to anybody that likes Asian buffets. It’s a winner.

The food is beautifully display. It’s a little heavy on the breading but that’s my personal opinion. Some may not think that. The waitresses are professional almost to the point of being curt. However they are courteous. No chit chat there. But it’s ok as it is a buffet and you are serving yourself. We enjoyed ourselves, ate good food and had a nice conversation with each other. We will probably go back one day or evening.

Let’s face it it’s all you can eat, and as it goes you sure do get a lot. Unfortunately for me I did not enjoy the crabs as they had a ammonia smell to them. On the other hand I love shrimps with heads they were delicious and fresh. The servers are quick and friendly and kind. I know it’s a tough job so I always over tip them. I will go there again as I love shrimp the sushi for me is okay. I love the variety of soups it would be nice if they had a carving area with a roast of some sort which is lacking go if you’re hungry the quality is okay at times. I will go again. Enjoy

Hey, it is a typical Chinese buffet. Lots of seafood here. We went at a little after 1pm on a Friday and most of the food appeared to be fresh and most of the stations were clean and neat.
Lunch for two, one beer and an iced tea was under $40 including tip. We’ll, we were both seniors so got the $1 discount.
While clean, the furniture is beginning to look a bit worn and tired.
Not a terrible place for lunch if you are hungry. The sushi alone is worth the price.

I pretty much tried a little bit of everything. Mainly enjoyed the salmon and tuna sushi. The general T’sao’s chicken & bourbon chicken were probably the best out of the chicken styles that they had. The barbecue pork was not my thing extremely chewy. Had a hard time putting that one down. I just typically call it the awesome awful buffet. Sometimes awesome sometimes awful. If I was starving and in a pinch, I would probably eat there again. The fried rice could’ve been better. The lo mein could’ve been better. The dumplings were fine. It’s just one of those things that you never know what you’re gonna get.

Ok it’s not the absolute best Chinese food I’ve ever had but it’s really really good. And plenty of it. So you can take a slow walk around and find your favorites and then go in. Don’t take too much on the first pass- leave room to try new things. All of the favorites are there. The wonton soup is so flavorful! (I was really expecting dish water) but the broth and the wontons were wonderful. I tried the hibachi. A large selection of extras to add in. Tasty! They replenish things quickly and often so everything is very fresh. A fun place for a group of friends and so very economical!
