We’ve already eaten here three times. The first time, we just came for breakfast and really liked that the portions are large and the prices are affordable. Two people can have a full breakfast for about $30 and leave feeling satisfied.
Later, we checked into Imperial Hawaii Resort and found out that hotel guests receive a discount at Denny’s. Of course, we came back the next day for both breakfast and dinner. The food was very tasty, the portions were big and filling. We received about a 10% discount because we’re staying at this hotel, which was a nice bonus.
Pros:
• Large portions
• Affordable prices
• Great for families
• Food is served quite quickly
Cons:
• Sometimes you need to wait in line at the entrance (both to be seated and to pay)
Overall, I recommend this place if you’re looking for breakfast or dinner in Waikiki, especially if you have a big family and want a satisfying meal without overspending.

Denny’s was exactly what we expected; good, simple breakfast at an affordable price. The food was fine, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot and came out quickly. Ordered a take away burger $21 with a Coke and upgraded to onion ring. Cashier was expecting a tip. I do not understand the tip culture here for tipping take away food. There was no extra table service.
Burger was not hot, only slight warm. Onion was cold. Bread taste too sweet. Don’t know what sweet sauce in it. Overall sweet. Taste weird. This supposed to be savoury bacon burger. Regret ordering it

We came here 10 years ago it was great, and then 6 years ago not so great, and this time was horrible we were hoping it would be better by now. Then they expect a tip and get annoyed. You asking for one has prompted this review they are voluntarily – I’m sorry but it’s your boss who pays you not customers we pay for the food, you can’t expect us to pay premium prices for a meal and then more ontop when you don’t even have the menu in stock or ran out (so after years waiting to eat Denny’s u don’t have the menu meal) It means bad management. Ended with this, but is this Toasted really?

my wife and I ate here three times beautiful locations both restaurants and both have very polite and pleasant staff, we ate twice at Denny’s near the Zoo and were lucky enough to have Cianna as our Waitress and she is amazing and if I had a restaurant I would try and steal her. We enjoyed a few meals at Denny’s Waikiki while we have been on vacation. Service is always great and the waiters are always making sure your meal is exactly how you want it. The staff have great energy and make the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by!

Tina was my server and she was absolutely amazing. After telling her that I had a very important question, she sat next to me and listened intently. My meal was exactly how I asked for (crispy turkey bacon). You can not get that in Australia and I love it.
Tina deserves the employee of the year award, she checked in twice and recommended pineapple juice which was so yummy.
Variety galore, breakfast all day if you want. Definitely worth a stop.
