I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect high-end food from a lounge, but my ribeye was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. And the marionberry pie… So good.
The service was exceptional. Samantha is all smiles and her service skills are top notch. There is a large dual sided fireplace in the center of the room, live music every night, and comfy couches with low tables.
The Oregon Garden Resort & the Fireside Lounge are miles above. I will be back!

I just spent two nights at the Oregon Garden resort, and we purchased the room with dinner package. We ate dinner at the Fireside Lounge each night and were so impressed with the quality of the food! They even had a thoughtful Valentine’s Day menu for special dinner and cocktail options. The duck breast on the special menu was *chefs kiss* superb. If you’re interested in something smaller, the Fireside Lounge has plenty of appetizer options, like the flatbread and buffalo blue cheese potatoes. They also have a pretty extensive draft list for local beers. You can’t go wrong with anything you order from here!
PS: Live music every night from 7-9 makes it even more fun and special to stop in

We stayed for the weekend and went to the Fireside Lounge Friday and Saturday night. The live music is great, the atmosphere is nice, the service is horrendous. The first night, Friday, the waitress came to us rather quickly, told us to get our own water, and didn’t know what they had on tap. After we got our appetizers and drinks, she never stopped by again. We had to flag her down to pay. Tonight, Saturday, my wife ordered a drink which she never received. The waiter walked by our table multiple times and never asked us if we wanted anything else or explained why we didn’t get the drink we ordered. My wife finally went to the bar, after watching many others do the same, to get her drink. If a self-serve bar with good music is what you are looking for, the Fireside Lounge is your place.

We ordered the prime rib and garlic fries to split. The garlic fries were so yummy! Prime rib was good. Maybe it was the heat, maybe the live music, but the sign says ” have a seat” the staff buzzed around us for a good 20 minutes but never even made eye contact so we went and sat at the bar to get service. Staff was friendly, bar manager was helpful and knowledgeable.

The Oregon Garden Fireside Lounge is set in the Lodge at the Oregon Garden. Located on the 80 acre botanical garden, the Fireside Lounge offers a great selection of local menu items, including beer, wine, and a full bar. The service is excellent, entrées are flavorful, prepared with fresh local ingredients, and prepared to order. Generous portions for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed dinner twice in a week and both evenings the Fireside Lounge had live music, see video clips. The Fireside Lounge is a cozy spot with excellent food and a great venue for local live music! Everything I’ve had on the menu has been amazing, especially the tacos, coconut shrimp, and cauliflower wings. Great drinks and well-made cocktails! It can get a bit busy, but the staff is always friendly and hard-working!

The food is very poor, service suffers in the fireside lounge. I wanted to give so many chances, been going to the Oregon Garden since 2001, coming back from a deployment, however, I believe this business does not seek change. So, if you love bland seasonless experiences, the Oregon Garden is your place. I will be eating at the Silverton Bowling alley, where the food is many many times better.

The place is nice but the service very bad. We went there 6:35pm for dinner, kids are allowed until 8 pm. Fine so far – after 20 minutes one server came to ask what we needed and I asked for the menu. The menu never came, instead it was a friend who brought the menu for us. After waiting another 10 minutes my husband decided to go make the order at the bar because no server came to take our order, and they said to my husband to sit and somebody will come to take an order. Well, finally they took our order at 7:05pm and the server reminded us kids only are allowed until 8. “No problem.” The food finally came at 7:35pm (after our server came and asked us if we needed anything else – “no, just waiting for our food”), leaving us to try eat as fast as we can to leave at 8. We asked for the bill at 7:50pm and the server didn’t bring the bill until 8pm. I was walking with my little boy in the lobby and when I came back to pay our bill the server asked me to leave (very rude) and wait for my husband out in the lobby – I couldn’t finish my dinner or check the bill. All that was at 8:03PM. Seriously was the worst customer service I had ever had in my life.

The Fireside Lounge is great. We received excellent service from Van. She is a rock star and should be treated as such. The food was amazing, in fact, do your yourself a favor and immediately go get a bbq pulled pork pizza. Don’t even finish reading this review, just go. The only problem is that it gave me possibly the worst gas I’ve experienced in my life. On the down side, there were a couple of Baby Boomers dry humping on the dance floor.
