I usually get the Yukon omelette which is delicious. This time I got the pancake special and it was okay. The highlight for me was the turkey bacon; it was crisp and cooked to perfection.
My friend had the private dancer and that dish should be a regular item on the menu. It’s savory with a hint of spice. If you like New Orleans style food, then you’ll like this dish. It’s very flavorful and is a decent sized portion.

Listen … My food was music To my ears. I was visiting Atl & ordered off Uber Eats. This food was sooo good I don’t even care that Uber was late picking up my order. It was still fire I took a chance and ordered somethings I’d never typically order especially from a new place and using Uber.
I ordered the fish & grits with eggs scrambled with cheese. It also came with toast with some sort of homemade black berry jam or something. Yikes even that was sooo good. I also ordered one French toast that was made with challah bread and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Omg I tell you the truth it was all AMAZING
My intention was to take a picture but by the time I remembered I had already seperated and eaten my food
Lol. The fish was good and crispy very nice batter. Eggs fluffy and actually scrambled soft. The kicker was the grits Chefs kiss. You can’t eat everyone’s grits but baby!!!!!!! If I were driving I’d go to this restaurant find the chef and check his socks cause he or she put their whole foot in my breakfast and it was soso good!!!!!!!
Definitely a go to next time in the Atl.

I knew something was gonna shake when I saw the menu offered flavoring options for the sweet tea ♥️ I just kept it simple but baby!!!!!!

Absolutely loved the vibe in this cozy diner. Belgian waffles were fluffy and light, cooked perfectly. The fried chicken tenders were the best I’ve had, perfectly seasoned, not too salty, so juicy. Pancakes were divine, grits were cheesy and delicious. What a great brunch and experience!

We arrived around 11:40 AM straight from the airport. There was no one at the door, no line at pickup, and no sign telling us whether to seat ourselves or wait. We tried to get the attention of three different servers and a manager, but they kept their heads down and avoided eye contact. It felt like we were bothering them.
When we finally asked the manager, he told us to sit at “Table 25,” but there were no table numbers visible. He walked away without any further explanation. We waited about 20 minutes without anyone greeting us, offering water, or even acknowledging us.
During that time, staff checked on at least seven tables around us, including the ones directly next to, behind, and in front of us, while completely ignoring our table. The floors and nearby tables were sticky and dirty, and the table we sat at had syrup and crumbs on it.
After being overlooked and not even offered water, we decided to leave. It is frustrating to see a long list of posted rules for customers when basic hospitality like greeting guests and communicating what is going on is missing. The overall experience felt very much like “I will get to you when I get to you.”

I’ve been coming to thumbs up for over 10 years and this has had to be the worst service I’ve ever had. When I ordered, I ordered a sweet tea with extra lemon. The tea took a while to come out and when it did arrive, there were no lemon. When I asked the server for the Lemon ,she looks surprised as she didn’t even know, I wanted lemon. I then ordered the steak and eggs I asked for it to be cooked, medium soft scrambled eggs with cheese and white toast. The food runner brought the food to the table. There were no silverware. I asked the food runner for the silverware that never came when the server finally came back a few minutes later I asked for silverware again she offered plastic saying that there were no silver cleaned. It is very hard to eat a steak with plastic silverware moments later I see that I have not received my Toast. I asked the waitress for Toast. She said let me get it. It never came. I asked again for the toast. It still never arrived. Finally, I asked for it to go box and ask for the Toast that I never received to be put in the Togo box and that’s when I actually received my Toast. The server was all over the place did not remember anything and was not helpful at all. There was no sight of a manager or anyone to assist us. needless to say this was the worst experience. I had the only thing on that plate. That was good was the steak very disappointed. I will not return to this location again.

The food was very good. I ended up getting the pork chops and eggs. The build your own breakfast gives a good taste of what they have to offer. The French toast is bomb! And I live for great French toast !

Absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and everything arrived at the perfect pace. Hey fam!! I’m back with another review!!! I went out to brunch with my mom and we know exactly why this place is called Thumbs Up lol. We’ve been to Thumbs Up before, but it was a different location in Atlanta – 10/10!! Our server was so lovely – I wish I could’ve gotten her name to give her the recognition she deserves. She is so vibrant and full of energy – she’s absolutely amazing. Kudos to the cooks – oh em geeee, the fish was so crunchy and full of flavor, it was soft inside and hard on the outside. Grits…MWAHHH, chef’s kiss. Shrimp?? Oh yeah, I’ll be back soon, TRUST MEEE!!! If you’re looking for a nice brunch or just a place to find where you can smile, here you are.
