My wife and I have always enjoyed dining at Roger’s. Today, was the first time my experience was not so pleasant. The calamari was very soggy and over the top, spicy hot. This was the first time ever that I sent back a meal. The waitresses have always been very efficient and friendly. Today, however our waitress showed very little signs of friendliness including never a smile nor an eagerness to serve us. We will be back to Rogers although today was disappointing.

This place is a hidden gem. The portions are fantastic, the food is great. There are a lot of comfort foods on the menu and it’s fairly diverse. One of the dishes you must try is the beef chow mein. They pair it with fish and chips or steak tips or chicken wings. If you try the fish and chips, ask for the dry batter. You can’t go wrong at Roger’s.

Ended up dropping into this place for dinner and glad we did. The mussels were very good to start. I had the fish and chips Mozambique, it came out on a huge dish with a big piece of fish over fries and rice. The portugese red pepper was great. My wife had the portugese steak also huge plate over fries and rice. Not going to go home hungry. Service was very good and the resturant looked pretty cool inside.
