A Lovely Mindset
We always have a great experience at Phily Diner & Sports Bar! The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. The entire place is very clean and well-maintained, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.
They have a great variety of food options for both adults and kids. I ordered the Fiesta Salad, and it was massive—in the best way! All of the vegetables were incredibly fresh and crisp. We also get the coconut shrimp with fries and the boneless chicken with Jack Daniel’s sauce—both are delicious and full of flavor.
Definitely a place we always come back to! Highly recommend for any time of day!

Our server was so sweet and attentive. We didn’t have to tell her once that we needed a refill. Loved that she only came in obvious times we needed attention like for the check etc. The food was fenomenal and the portion sides were super big. The mozzarella sticks were gooey and soft, never had them like that before. For a 4 person dine in experience the cost before tip was $114. Super delicious and will definitely be back! I’ve provided some pictures below.

Good food and very nice family atmosphere. Nice and cozy while cold outside.

I thought they had a veggie burger but they don’t. Still though the food was great and presented very nicely. The diner is huge with tons of booths. Free waters which slot of places don’t do these days

The atmosphere is great! Love the attention to detail and the smell of the small little bakery is amazing! We ordered for lunch, got great service from the waitress. We came down from Canada and I have to say, it’s stereotypical bigger food servings than we’re used to. We had ordered the burger from the kids menu for my 7year old, the bun was as big as her face We had asked for the meat to be well done, was still slightly pink but was returned promptly and we got our 2nd plate rapidly.

Typical diner food. Consistent quality. We happened to have Brooke as our server. Lucky for us, she was wonderful. She was very attentive and exceeded our expectations. We visit there 1 or 2 times a month. Very good.

I haven’t been to the Phily Diner in years since moving away, so it was a nice trip down memory lane to stop by and watch the game. The vibe is still great—exactly what you want for a game day—and the atmosphere was definitely the highlight of the visit.
The food is your classic, reliable diner fare. Most of our group was happy with the standard staples, which were tasty and hit the spot. That said, I’d probably stick to the diner “classics” if you go.

This diner is epically A DINER….. from the look to the service, atmosphere and food. I have been here hundreds of times years ago. I do not frequent the area as much anymore and so have not been there in about 7 years. It still looks great and the service was really efficient and fast but not very friendly. She did what she was supposed to do but no extension of friendliness at all and they were not busy so there was plenty of time to be so. The food though has gone very downhill. I had the meatloaf and the meat cut was paper-thin, the texture was VERY dry and crusted up (from being on the grill too long and under the heatlamp too long). All items on the plate were quite flavorless. Even the mashed potatoes were extremely dry and very clumsy. The gravy was burned and very over-cooked (incredibly dark…. possibly heated and reheated way too many times and heavily salted. The rest of my friends also had the same experiences with their food quality as well from chicken parmigiano to sandwiches. It is a fun atmosphere and it was nice to be back in there but definitely don’t go there hungry and expect much from the food any longer. There is plenty of parking and you are greeted very friendly by a hostess when you walk in. And the bar area looks well set up and fun too but I did not sit there…. we were in a booth for dinner in the restaurant side.

I highly highly recommend this place to everyone! They split the huge space into 2 – one side a high tech sports bar, the other a vintage diner. Neither side will break the bank as both come with drink specials and seasonal cocktails. But the best part??? THE FOOD!!! YUM!!! I have yet to try something on the menu I don’t like.
Breakfast: If you have a sweet tooth like me, I recommend the stuffed french toast with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, lightly coated with powdered sugar, and raspberry syrup drizzled all over the entire plate!
Lunch/Dinner: the pulled pork sandwich – the BBQ sauce and seasonings aren’t overbearing and there’s just enough to bring out the full flavor of the pork and, as is the custom of any true southern BBQ, topped with coleslaw!
Appetizer: the salted pretzel bites with a side of Dijon for dipping – these are warm, soft, and coated with the perfect amount of butter and salt so they’re not greasy, just a hint of buttery!
This place has something for everyone, even the kids! On Thursdays, a woman and her husband come in and do balloon animals for the kids.
The entire staff, from the host/hostess to the wait staff, to the bus boys and cooks – everyone I’ve met so far has been professional, accommodating, and very friendly.
Even on a Sunday morning after church this place was packed but we didn’t have to wait for a seat or any longer than usual for our food. Service is always A+++, prompt, efficient, and exceeds all expectations of a diner. This place may look like a diner inside and out, but it has all the amenities of a 5 star restaurant!

Eat here. The food is absolutely excellent. The atmosphere is everything I look for in a diner, including a desirable menu, dessert window, and pay as you leave.
Calamari was THE BEST I’ve had in decades. Flavor, texture, and crunch were perfection.
I also enjoyed chicken orzo soup (outstanding), wings (still amazing if you take them home and put them back in air fryer), and my classic go-to, the turkey club on rye.
The food was so good I forgot to take a photo of everything.
I will be back!
