This one was a bit hard to rate. We really wanted it to be something special. I would say the food is good but just not what I expected compared to all the sister restaurants. Im thinking this plays mostly part because it is a brewery and we are not drinkers. If you are gonna come drink and casually enjoy a meal…sure. Atmosphere and Service was amazing though! The kitchen staff was entertaining.

Chill spot to grab a Far Out beer with a glorious bar top. Glad this jaunt offers beer in true pints glasses, as the good Lord intended. Hate seeing 40oz goblets and 64oz mugs. Food is fantastic. Their marinated ribeye is a treat. It’s packed with flavor. Zydeco salmon plate(Chef’s kiss ) will be cleaned before it gets bussed, the ensemble works well together. Corndog is delicious, but avoid enjoying it amongst oilfield customers.
Amigos, I have been to Felipe’s for multiple visits. I missed a few plates to discuss. I shall return again.

The building and decor is super trendy. The bar seating is a large. The restaurant is large, spacious— not on top of each other as some restaurants. All staff was welcoming and super friendly. Our server Jasmine was sweet as pie! Unfortunately, due to work we were unable to try the adult drink menu — seemed like many tasty options, though!
Maybe we came in an off day… but our food had zero flavor. The brisket queso should be renamed queso topped with brisket, also, it is lacking flavor. I asked for fresh jalapeños to add some something. The texture was great, just needed seasoning.
Entrees ordered were wagyu barbacoa tacos with a side of mac n cheese and the zydeco salmon served with brocolini and dirty rice.
Mac n cheese was much like the queso, I think it’s the same cheese sauce— needed flavor, topped with red bell pepper which was different, added a crunch to the bite. The tacos were decent, served with cilantro and pickled onion. The zydeco salmon left much to be desired, and maybe because I was super excited to try this dish. It has a creamy sauces which was tasty, but the salmon itself was very fishy. I believe it was chinook salmon since the meat was of an all white texture. The 2 jumbo shrimped it was topped with was fine, dirty rice was , and the broccolini needed salt and pepper, and dirty rice— well, this is west Texas not Louisiana.
We were hoping for a great experience all around, as it was our wedding anniversary, but the food really didn’t do it for us.
We spent about $75, excluding tip.
I read the reviews and had high hopes. Hopefully, this helps someone!

Our first time there and absolutely loved the experience and food.
Our service was very good and the food was awesome. We had the best steak in the Permian Basin, to date.
The water is soooo good, it is cold and tastes so clean.
Everything we ordered was so good, you can’t go wrong.

I visited F1 Bar & Grill a couple of months ago during hockey playoff season. I came by a few times for dinner and to watch the games. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly. The brisket sandwich was amazing, perfectly smoky and tender. For dessert I tried the banana cream pudding and the famous butter cake, both were delicious but the butter cake was my favourite. A great spot for good food and watching the games.

I wanted to love this place because the service was great but the food was just not it. We ordered the salmon dip which sadly reminded me of eating tuna out of the can even the appearance of it. For dinner I ordered the barbacoa tacos. They looked and smelled delicious but the meat did not resemble barbacoa at all and I was majorly disappointed to be paying 23 dollars for 3 tacos that were made on store bought tortillas. The only thing that I will say was delicious was the butter cake and their mixed drinks.

I came to Texas for a week to visit my Hubby, we had this place recommended by a friend of ours. It did NOT disappoint at all!!! Hands down the best salmon I have ever had anywhere and the smoked brisket. But then came dessert. I have never had a dessert so good I wanted to pack it on Ice and send it back home. The Butter cake is die for!!! If you are in the area this place is a must, and our server Jasmine was super amazing. Provided amazing conversation and handle our us picking on her!! She is top notch!!! The rest of the staff was amazing as well and walks around helping each other and making sure their guest are great!! Definitely will be back here again!!

This place is so good! I’ve been a few times now and it’s consistent every time. If you don’t get Butter Cake, you’re not living your best life. Yes, it’s that good. The fried chicken is tasty as all get out. Best New place in Odessa. Thank me later.

I’m so excited we finally had the chance to eat dinner here! To drink I ordered the Odessa sunset I loved that! My friend got the red headed stranger. We got the brisket queso I think l’d skip that next time and try a different appetizer! For our mains we got the chopped brisket melt and the smash burger.
Honestly both were so fresh, tasty and amazing!
I’d order those again! And the Mac and cheese was a must! Did you see that cheese pull! I also tried the Baja lemonade. It was a little sour for me but my friend liked it! Honestly I’d come here again and again for sure!!!

We had a fantastic experience at Felipe’s! From start to finish, everything was on point. Our waiter, Spencer, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The beer selection was solid, and the Farout IPA really stood out—super tasty and well balanced.

For food, we ordered the truffle honey fried chicken and the farmer salad with kale and chicken, and both were outstanding. The fried chicken had the perfect mix of crispy, savory, spicy and sweet, while the farmer salad was fresh, hearty, and flavorful.

Great service, great food, and great beer—Felipe’s is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
