Saltwater Cowboys was awesome, and such a great place to grab lunch on a Sunday afternoon! I absolutely loved everything about the ambiance; when you first walk up to the restaurant, it feels like you’re about to walk right into a large, beautiful, beach-front estate. Then, when you walk around the corner, you’re greeted with a beautiful view of the marsh, which then leads into Shem Creek! My friends and I sat right beside the railing, where we could see directly into the ships docked in front of us, as well as feeling the sun glistening off of the water.
As for the service and food, they were both solidly above average, and they seemed to have a nice selection of drinks. I wasn’t ready to drink that early in the day, but one of my friends ordered an IPA that they had (in a can), and said that it was pretty good, and my other friend simply got one of the basic domestic beers in a bottle. (For what it’s worth, my pink lemonade was pretty good. Lol.) To eat, I got a simple order of chicken nuggets and fries, to go along with an order of buttermilk biscuits. The biscuits were good, although I do wish they were a little bit warmer, and my nuggets and fries were really just your basic nuggets and fries. My friend said that his BBQ and collard greens were solid as well, and that he enjoyed them.
Finally, our server, as well as all the other staff members I interacted with, were all very nice and friendly, and did an overall great job! They also had a great live performer, who fit the Sunday-afternoon vibe perfectly.
All-in-all, Saltwater Cowboys was a lot of fun, and I’d recommend it to anyone!

First time experiencing this restaurant. It is dog friendly outside area, so feel free to bring your best friend. They even have a dog menu online!
The food and atmosphere is definitely worth the wait to get in. Scenery is beautiful, staff was very friendly and service is great. Food was outstanding!
They even gave my Dane puppy a scarf to wear!

Amazing brunch. Breakfast tacos were really good. Bloody Mary’s were really good. Drink selection was really good. Great place for day drinking if you are in to that scene. Views of Shem Creek were beautiful. We loved this place and will be coming back on future visits. All the food and appetizers looked amazing there were so many things I wanted to try.

Had a great tasting grilled grouper sandwich and asparagus. The key lime pie was very good! Outside dining was closed due to the 40 degree temperature so we had an inside table at the window. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Delicious meal!

The food was good. The trashcan nachos were a great presentation. The chips do tend to get soggy pretty quick. A suggestion would be to maybe have a little bit of the chips on the outside the can to have some solid chips. The brussel sprouts were my hands down favorite. The fried green tomatoes were well done & the sauce was a wonderful balance. The shrimp were perfectly cooked & the sauce had a great balance of spicy and sweet.

Great place to eat! Right on the water, great staff. The nachos look great-wish we had ordered them. The brussel sprouts were amazing. I had the creek bowl-filled with great stuff but lacking in flavor. The pulled pork and brisket tacos were really good.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic dining experience with breathtaking views that perfectly complemented the meal. The service was impressively swift, even during busy hours, and the staff remained incredibly patient and attentive. I highly recommend the nachos—they’re delicious and a must-try. However, I wouldn’t recommend the calamari, as the rings were quite tiny and seemed overcooked, which affected the taste. On the other hand, the flounder was absolutely exquisite crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Overall, a delightful spot that I look forward to visiting again!

For a restaurant that specializes in seafood, I expected the fried shrimp to be crispy and flavorful. They were not.
The catfish fish and chip special was the only highlight. Good fish to bread ratio, and the breading didn’t fall apart. The coleslaw and fries were fine.
The restaurant is overrated, you’re just paying for views and good service.

The sweet potato fries were perfect. It helps to have them thin cut, thick SPF are just nasty. All food was great and our server really helped us out. Moved us away from a group of 20, they were putting out the decibel level of a launch of a F16 from a flat top.

I loooveeee this so much. The food was amazing. The ambient and the service stunning. We try the shrimps and flounders, great. Next we try the pulled pork and it was amazing but the brisquet, the wings and the beans are out of this world. Love it. A huge thanks to our waiter Travis, you rock man. Thank you
