We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Artisan on 12/10. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated. We had a nice table for 2, enjoyed Paolo who took excellent care of us and had a wonderful dinner. The timing of the meal was great, the food was all perfectly prepared, nicely presented and delicious. We enjoyed the wine Palo recommended to accompany our courses. It was 4 star experience. Valet parking was great on a rainy night but I think a restaurant of this caliber should have a place to check your coats. Sitting at an expensive restaurant with your coat balled up or hanging on your chair is not acceptable. The Greeter was also not very welcoming and not very friendly. She was having a bad day.

My husband had the shrimp cocktail, he said it was so fresh and yummy!
We both ordered the cod fish & chips and it was out of this world, delicious!
The ricotta donuts hit the spot! They come with lemon cream & chocolate to dip in.

Atmosphere is lovely but unfortunately service wasn’t the best and the food while pretty was only average. Needed to find our waiter each time we wanted something. Had arranged with the hostess to bring out a dessert at the end as we were there for a celebration. The dessert never arrived, not sure if it was a miscommunication but it was disappointing. I don’t have much to say about the food as it wasn’t memorable. My one comment is that the fish needed seasoning. Would like to try again in case we were there on an off night.

Delicious! To the fried pickles, scallops, steak frites, oysters, and delicious dessert we couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary dinner. The wait staff was on point and moved as a fine working machine. Shout out to the bartender who gave us some recommendations before dinner. We will be back!!
