The waitress was walking by with a plate of food before we ordered. When she came to our table I asked what were you serving those people? When you just walked by.
Chicken tenders and fries. No way! That was not chicken fingers.
Well I’m here to tell you it was but it’s like an adult delicious wonderful chicken tender meal. Nothing like you would order for the kids.
My husband and I split the chicken tender meal, and it comes with two sides. The delish light batter on the onion rings, they’re the homemade freshest I’ve ever had onion rings. And you can taste nothing but the onion rings. What do I mean by that?
Have you ever eaten in a restaurant and you thought to yourself wow this tastes really oily and strong. That’s because the oil needs to be changed frequently and meticulously.
They’re doing a great job and we’ll be back soon.

After a walk along the Troll Trail at the NC Arboretum, we came to SRT for lunch. The creamy potato soup was rich and delicious. My All-American cheeseburger was quite large and cooked just as ordered. Came with big, flavorful onion rings. My partner had the tiger sandwich with an absolutely huge fried chicken breast tossed in a spicy, sweet hot sauce. Very yummy. Servers were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped by for a late lunch after visiting the botanical garden. No wait for a table. Our waitress was friendly. We were happy with our food and the portion sizes.
I had a grilled cheese with bacon, which was really yummy. My husband enjoyed their chili and lasagna. My sister enjoyed their Ruben. We all left full and happy.

The restaurant was clean and easy to navigate. The service was very good and attentive. The food was delicious, served hot and within a reasonable time. The bill was very reasonable for the meal.
The atmosphere was in need of some music. There was only the sounds of the restaurant which I found unusual since it is a tavern style place. It wouldn’t stop me from going again or suggesting it to others because it was a nice meal.

On a visit to Asheville, we found this little gem with a quick Google search and were pleasantly surprised! Everything was good except the fried green tomatoes…they needed salt. My husband LOVED the rolls, which were very soft and came out hot. We both loved the HUGE crab cakes and remoulade sauce. Our waitress was very nice, down to earth. She checked on us numerous times and kept the table clean. All food came out fast and fresh. We would definitely return!

I am sitting in the parking lot on one of the hardest days. I brought my son out for dinner tonight. Today he would have been 20 years old. Sadly he passed last year. Mariah was my waitress and she was so kind so sweet to me. She made today a little easier and I can not say enough how thankful I am for her kindness today. I’m sorry I forgot her friends name but the 2 of them really helped my heart today. For them I am so grateful. The food was amazing as well but I mainly wanted to say thank you for the kindness.

We unfortunately had to be “those people” who showed up ~30 minutes before closing to have a meal. Not ideal and definitely not something we usually do, just how it happened driving east on I-40.
The lovely staff at Stone Ridge not only sat us, they gave us amazing service (shout out to Jessica, she is an incredible server who made sure we had everything we needed and went truly above and beyond for us).
The food was excellent, homemade everything, and it definitely showed. The NY strip was deliciously seasoned and melted in your mouth. We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled broccoli and the French fries were crunchy even after they had cooled a little bit.
The Key Lime pie was incredible, so definitely don’t skip that.
Thank you Stone Ridge for a really lovely break from our long road trip.

Absolutely highly recommend this restaurant! We went here for lunch on my birthday and everything was great. I didn’t realize the fries were breaded and I can’t have gluten. My fiance started asking the waitress about how the were cooked and we realized I couldn’t have them. Even though it was 100% my fault of not asking before hand the waitress was super sweet and even got her manager to come to our table without being asked to see if she could switch the fries to a baked potato and then also took back my burger back to remake it because she let me know the grill was also not safe for me even though I ordered a burger with no bun. They literally cleaned the grill to make me a safe meal. They didn’t try to make me feel awful for the situation even though I did feel so bad that they had to take my food back. They were very sweet and we will definitely be coming back. (I will be telling them right when I ordered next time about my Celiac disease) I also ordered a Cosmo and it was delicious. My fiance also really enjoyed his meal. Amazing people and amazing food and drinks.

I’ve been going here for years and it’s never disappointed. They have a little bit of everything on the menu so even picky eaters can find something yummy. If you like rolls you definitely got to try the ones here because they are amazing. Lots of beer on tap and a good size menu of other options. The service has always been good and the bathrooms are clean. The parking can be hit or miss depending on the time and night you go. Give this place a try!
