La Viborilla is tucked away in a lush, tropical cove with direct access to a secluded beach. The setting is tranquil and beautifully shaded by palm trees, offering a perfect combination of sea breeze and dappled light. The vibe is casual, family-friendly, and authentically local.
La Viborilla offers an experience, not just a meal. It’s the kind of place where time slows down. The view, the food, and the atmosphere create a memory. Perfect for long lunches with friends or family, especially if you’re craving paella or grilled seafood near the water.
I visited this restaurant 3 times in a week.
There is lot of good things you can get,but since is a beach bar there are some misses too.
I was lucky to always receive the best.
Tony is the main character, his approach is what pure Spanish hospitality looks like.
As some people say you have bread on arrival but it is not mandatory, so if you don’t want it just way no straight away and they won’t charge you for it. The waiters and waitress do speak a bit of English but their way of speaking can come across straight forward for some people.
This place is open every day from morning till night so can pass by and ask for table.
If you want to avoid busy hours avoid any time from 21:30/22:00.
Ps.:Torrijas is a must try , it is a homemade Spanish dessert.
I’m from Australia and its pretty hard to beat, well done.
Had 2 beach chairs for the day went snorkelling etc and had lunch on the main deck.
Highly recommended
Raised sea views across a small bay make for a beautiful setting in this lovely and very lively spot located in what can be classed as a somewhat bland/samey/tourist area on Costa del Sol.
First the good bits. The staff, friendly and attentive. The views. The food – the freshly cooked food was delicious and cooked well.
The bad bits. The main outside service area is away from the main restaurant and was a dumping place for plates, cutlery, glasses, food remains etc. a real eyesore and not pleasant to witness. They really do their best to clear the area but as restaurant is so busy, this is very difficult. Perhaps a bamboo screen might be beneficial.
Use of pre-made/packaged products for bread/tinto de verano/ desserts. Would be a nice touch if these were all homemade/prepared. Again, appreciate that there are a lot of covers but this would elevate the restaurant to another level.
Average food with average prices and average service overall. We all ate and the person that had the easiest dish (spaghetti) got served last when everybody else had finished eating already.
