This is a small deli but my Regular was amazing with Cooper, Genoa, and ham. The prices are awesome. 50 cents between the small and large hoagie. Looks great for catering too. Nowhere to really eat in but their large beer selection makes up for that. I would recommend stopping, if you are in the area.

Normally, I enjoy my experience. I am newer to the Deli but have grown to love it immediately. I am a regular; visiting 2-3 times a week.

I went today for my normal order. It’s always been correct but the past two times there were missing ingredients that really changed my experience with the sandwich. I continued to go back because I knew they would get it right.

Today; I arrived and a man wearing glasses with a ponytail just looked at me and grabbed my sandwich. No greeting or pleasantries. Just “ Turkey and American.” I was taken aback by that as I am normally at least greeted.

I was getting my money out to pay when another patron entered. Animated and excitedly the man awaiting my funds to pay says “Hello, how are you?” To the man that just entered.

That’s strange. I wasn’t greeted or properly acknowledged but the next person was. I asked the man with glasses and a ponytail was there a reason that I wasn’t greeted. I was told that I was greeted by “Turkey and American.” Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

I normally have a positive experience but today was the complete opposite. I deserve to be greeted just like the next person. I love my sandwich but I should also enjoy the service. Shame on you for how you’ve treated a loyal customer. Do better.

I was nearby and stopped to get donuts at Daryl’s pastries, googled Giulianos and was impressed with the reviews. I probably should have gotten a hoagie. I opted for the grilled cheese with cooper cheddar and Swiss.

The woman at the front taking orders was alright. She was kind of standoffish and was way more friendly to the pregnant woman who came in after me.

As far as the sandwich goes, the cheese was not melted and tasted almost like they grilled the bread and put the cheese on after. Trying to be fair with rating, but I was very disappointed. I would possibly go back to try a hoagie but only if I’m close by again and very hungry.

$11.50 for that is a no go. That’s like a $8 sandwich when it’s good.

One of the best delis in the city of Philadelphia. They also have a good assortment of beer. Food is always rushed the hot roast. Beef is delicious.

Came in the first time today. Friendly and helpful staff. I got the turkey and spinach in the bread and tried out a new beer while there. Was delicious. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

They do not make hot sandwiches on Sundays. Bummer. Just means I’ll have to come back. We ordered the Italian stallion and turkey BLT. Both were very good. The place was steadily busy for a Sunday.

I like this spot, if I’m ever in the region I’ll definitely return here. A basic, no frills, establishment with good food for reasonable prices served hot and fast. Beer is available, music delivered by old hi fi in the corner slow swinging ceiling fans and black and white pictures of the town as it was on the walls. Everything in this place screams of a hoagie institution with a storied past. Heartily recommend for a good sandwich at a great price point.
