Since its debut in 1979 , this family-owned Mexican Restaurant has been pleasing its Houston customers with a little taste of Mexico, offering both authentic and tex-mex dishes, along with signature margaritas and drinks! We stay open till late, and 24 hrs on weekends!
Hearty Mexican favorites served late-late-night, including fresh tortillas, enchiladas & margaritas.

I was very disappointed! My co-worker suggested we go here for a group lunch. Looking at the food on pics in the reviews looked completely different in person. I was disappointed with that salsa especially, in the pics it looked great in person no so great! My co-worker ordered the queso which tasted more like Rico’s nacho cheese…she didn’t like it and didn’t eat it. I ordered lunch beef fajitas and they were tough! The wait staff were perfect…no complaints there. My coworker that recommended us to go even said he was disappointed because it was not like that when he went. Definitely wouldn’t be going back!

My husband went in Oder to go and I never ever had an issue till Now the chicken soup was all made out of a can potato’s were tasting waxy like from a can they had to also used chicken broth cause it did not taste homemade at all and only reason I went there for chicken soup was cause Arandas was closed on Xmas eve! And they also just chopped up some tomatoes and cilantro and threw it in there had no kind of veggies but potatoe and carrots and when do they ever ask what part of the chicken did we want? This is a first! So I called them to tell them I wasn’t happy w the food and why and the female that answered told me the manager would call me back and nothing I’m still waiting been 3 days a professional would return the call right away this is a nightmare seems like most people in the world r out there just scamming people and don’t care about their customers and I Never expected this from this place used to be my favorite place so this place should be shut down its so nasty disgusting and horrible people shame on you! God sees all!

Place was open at 10 am on a Saturday. Have to agree the food is good but overpriced. I paid 16 dollars for a medium bowl of menudo. Menudo had hominy. Broth was flavorful and watery.
I also paid 6.99 per barbacoa taco. Barbacoa had red seasoning. Each taco had about two tablespoons of meat inside. It would have been cheaper to get the plate.

I want to start by thanking Ignacio the manager and Henry the cashier for their wonderful customer service. I woke up from a late nap and needed a quiet place to work on my laptop, but that offered margaritas and street tacos. Now if you live in houston you know, other places are very rowdy and crowded so this was super convenient and less than 5 minutes away from my house. The food came out super quick, and the house margarita was strong. I also tried a Don Julio martini just for funsies and it was pretty good. I paid $71 for everything and left a $10 tip. Tbh, when I came in my host and bartender service was a bit disappointing, not because of the language barrier but more so because they just didn’t seem interested in serving me (sometimes I feel like people don’t pay attention until you’re taking pictures and they realize you may leave a review which sucks). Although I do speak a little Spanish, I’m glad that Ignacio came up to me at the bar and sparked a conversation. They have buy one get one free shots, and one of their products with no additives he had great knowledge about so I tried it and it was VERY SMOOTH. He has only been here a month, but I think with him on the team this family owned business will have better customer service within the next few months. They also have a speakeasy on the weekends, and plan to do a brunch on Sundays – $29 all you can eat. The pictures don’t do it justice but the place is huge, 2 stories, patio and the bathrooms were super clean.

Great atmosphere with good music, nice aesthetics, and a beautiful bar. The service was excellent, very attentive and welcoming, and the drinks were great.
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the Spanish Flower breakfast with barbacoa, which had no flavor. The barbacoa was bland, and the hash browns were soft, oily, and lacked crispiness.

From the moment we walked in to the restaurant on the first floor. The staff greeted us with such enthusiasm and smiles. We were escorted to the upper balcony. Food was amazing, served chips as bite food. Highly recommend their PARRILLADAS a mix of the Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken always hits.
They have Aguas Fresca, Jamaica&Horchata.
Service was quick and the music was a great mixture of Spanish Mexican music and English tunes. They also have TVs for Sport enthusiasts by the bars a Jumbo screen and smaller TVs all around. Thank you!

Thursday night—Come here! 25 percent discount on steaks. Buy one shot and get a second shot free. The steak was cooked how I asked. Tender. Juicy. The food was great. My waitress was attentive and gave me quality service.
Free parking. Open late. Open 24 hours on weekends. I like this because sometimes I work late.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!!!!!!
Hi, I came here for my friend’s birthday celebration expecting a good time with a great atmosphere and who I was met with? Disaster! While the drinks are amazing and we would love to keep them going the service and the food is less than desirable. I ordered the seafood guacamole, and although it looked pleasing to the eye, the flavors did not mesh well together it tasted as if the shrimp was bad and it led into the guacamole. The next dish would be the queso with the beef now I tried to return my order, but the manager was pretty aggressive and made it seem as if I needed to order another appetizer instead of just not having an appetizer at all. The queso was extremely watery with no flavor. The last meal that we tried would be fajitas we got chicken beef and shrimp. The beef was overcooked. The shrimp tasted all right, but there was no salt and the flavor simply wasn’t there. I called the manager over and let him know that we wanted to return the dishes. There was nothing left. I immediately received aggression from the manager and hostility. He immediately told me that they could only take 15% off because we had already returned a dish and it was unacceptable and the business cannot handle three returned dishes Although at our party there was a returned horchata that was disgusting a quesadilla that was disgusting and sad look at it (refer to the photos). A pollo marinero that was disgusting. Although I wanted to enjoy the place, the food was an extreme letdown so was the managerial service. The manager then came back and told me they could only do 20% they could not return our food because it would be bad for business. There was nothing else that he could do. I am fine with paying the bill, but I don’t believe that the service and the attitude were necessary. Unfortunately, I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this place to anyone that I know. The staff assumed that we weren’t going to pay they had a big gentleman who seemed to be the assistant manager guarding. I heard the waitress whisper to
Him “It’s okay they are going to pay”. We are the only two black patrons in our party. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration for our friend that turned into us being accosted and racially profiled. As a good lover and frequent patron of restaurants I have never received such horrible service from the waiters and managerial staff/ owners. IThis review was written in real-time.
