This is such a great spot for comfort food! They offer different specials to check out on their board. The bartenders are friendly! ❤️ We love that it has a pool table and a jukebox They have a variety of food on their menus, so youre sure to find something yummy We love their Bar Fly fries. They also offer a variety of fries to choose from! I’m a fan of their Inferno Chicken sandwich. This bar is a cash bar but has an atm.

Black Horse Tavern in Phoenixville is a gem. perfect whether you’re stopping in for a drink or a full night out. The food and drinks were excellent, Erica was incredibly friendly and attentive. Drinks were perfectly made, recommendations were spot-on. We’ll be back again soon!

I wasn’t impressed with the Black Horse Tavern. The floor space is crowded and difficult to navigate.
The bar service was quick and bartender courteous.
Disappointingly cash only; they offer an ATM. I very rarely ever carry cash or even my ATM card, it just so happened I had a little bit of cash in my pocket for a beer. I would have gotten food and even played some pool if they would accepted credit cards.
Got a vibe that there’s a regular local crowd that’s hangs out here, and that’s cool. While I didn’t have a bad beer or received poor service, I’m not sure I’d return the next time I visit greater Phoenixville unless I had no other options.

Don’t have on your website and Google say that you are open until 2am, but the doors are locked at 12am. I saw a guy tonight, 12:05 playing Skill Games with the bartender right there. All entrances locked. Unacceptable. Also, your sign says, Were Back. For who??? Not the people who want to come after hours.

Place is a decent dive I guess, they claim to serve food till like 1am, but will only pick up their phone about 1/10 attempts to order. Called 5 different times last night over the course of an hour and noone bothered to answer the phone. Probably the 4th time I tried to order food here and just couldn’t.

Love this bar.. food is great with daily specials. Happy hour is extremely cheap. Bartenders have always been good to me.. only gripe is that this location cannot seem to figure out the thermostat. Freezing in the summer and roasting in the winter. Put a lock on the box so customers stop messing with it. Please

Nicolette is absolutely an angel. She is the best bartender and so sweet! The best service around! Phil makes the best food out of all of the cooks here you can just taste the difference between him and the other cooks! Everything is always amazing!

I was shocked at how great the service was here. Victoria had a full bar all by herself and my 6 friends and I never had to wait more than a minute for a refill. Had low expectations coming here because of some of these other reviews, but those people must have not gone when V was working. Their loss!

$78 for take out of a bucket of wings, beer batter fries, chicken caesar and tenders. All of which were burned, dried or wilty beyond consumption. Place smelled bad, experience in total was bad. Bartender was nice enough. Ceiling leaking into a full bucket near electric cord by the entrance gave off heavy final destination vibes. Food donated to side yard raccoon and possum population.
