I am truly blown away at our first experience here. I have celiac, So it is crucial when we die now that our waitstaff understand. I have never had such a loving, Truly Kind, And some of the most delicious Gluten-Free Food, that I have not been able to taste in over 15 years!!
This place literally brought me to tears with the story, the passion, the heart and the vision.
We cannot wait to come again

We dined at the bar. Luke was fantastic as well as the young lady that was working with him. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately. My dining partner wanted to combine her dinner side salad with a gyro but without the pita. She created the gyro salad and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had the Greeked Out pizza. Delicious and crunchy cheesy crust on every piece. I also placed an order of the smoked wings to go. Those were delicious as well. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for having such a wonderful restaurant and professional staff Dave.

The white tomato bisque was excellent—rich, flavorful, and probably the highlight of the meal. The jambalaya, on the other hand, was underwhelming. The sausage was fantastic, but the rice lacked bite and some of the onions were undercooked, which threw off the balance.

The place was packed, and while service was a little stretched, the staff really did their best and I appreciated the effort. The vibe itself is good—warm, lively, and comfortable. Overall, I’d call it a mixed bag, but good enough that I’d give it another shot.

We decided to give Ollie’s a try last night. There are a lot of vegetarian options and a whole vegan menu. I had the Forager smash burger with the Impossible burger. The bun was nice and sturdy so it held everything together well. The truffle fries were delicious. The mac and cheese is amazing. I also had a side salad. My husband had the 2Abpsslcpooassb burger with Impossible burgers and regular fries. We didn’t care too much for the chocolate cake. Our recommended the chocolate mousse which we will try the next time. There’s a patio outside but we sat inside. It is decorated nicely and has a nice atmosphere. I will definitely go back. They add a 20% service charge which we don’t mind but I know others don’t like it.

This is a hard review to write because it’s the first time I truly don’t know how to rate a place…

First, you order at your table using the code or you turn the light on to let you know you need help. Which is fine but no one told us this so we sat at the table for 20 minutes without anyone helping us. It would’ve been nice that someone notice that we clearly don’t know what we’re doing and helped us

We got a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. We got to the table first, our drinks took close to 30 minutes. We didn’t understand why the bartender took our order if she was so backed up and behind that she wasn’t going to get to it for a while.

My niece has Celiac and this was a safe place (anyone who has celiac still tell them that you need them to prepare separately, use clean hands/utensils, etc). They put an allergy sticker on each of our baskets

We got the cheese curds, Brinner burger, GF Gyro, and truffle fries

The truffle fries were very hot and just ok, nothing too special. The aioli was good

The cheese curds were good…but lukewarm at best

The brinner and the gyro were both very good. However the prices weren’t worth what you get, both were $14 and no sides included, just the sandwich/burger

The cocktails and wine were also good when we got them

Overall it was good…think that it was expensive for what you get. It was a safe place for my niece with Celiac to go but I think it’s accurate to say we’d likely hit up one of the other options in the area before this one

Way to go Dave! You rock! I am not going to comment on the food since I did not eat. My daughter invited me to join my son in law, granddaughter and her. We came because Ollie’s is stepping up to help a community effected by the government shut down by offering a “Pay what you can” menu Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If you know someone who can’t afford to eat out, tell them. If you can afford a little extra, this would be a good place to give to help offset the cost owner Dave is so generously giving away. I had a very nice conversation with Dave and gave what I could to help. I am in the restaurant business and know how difficult it is to survive with guest paying full price, let alone give heavily discounted or free meals. I applaud Dave and his team for the love and care they so openly feel all. For this reason I will continue to support Dave and Ollie’s?

I cannot speak more highly of this establishment — We went on a Friday night, and were greeted by Ollie himself! We sat close enough to the bar to watch Chef Dave mix custom cocktails, and listen to his stories surrounding said cocktails. We each ordered a “norm” burger; I got the vegan version and my boyfriend got the standard issue beef and cheese version. Food wise, delicious. I would recommend that you try Ollie’s for the food alone, but we got so much more out of our visit. Nearing the end of the evening, Chef Dave came out from behind the bar and spoke with guests, revealing that he is fabulously fluent in Spanish! He decided to make a custom cocktail for one of the gentlemen sitting near us, which involved fig and basil and I think pure magic??? It was so unbelievable. He also came and sat at the table with me and my boyfriend as we finished eating, and told us stories about his journey as a chef and father. He made us feel so welcome and like we had known him forever. Beyond that, the whole restaurant is clearly so LGBTQ+ friendly… it really feels like someone who loves people built a restaurant, and I can’t recommend a visit enough. I will be back, and I hope to bring everyone in my life.

Seating a bit tight. Drafty and chilly. Service pretty average and not worth the mandatory 20% gratuity. Prices on the high end. Cheese curds were REALLY top notch. Chicken sandwich was the worst I have ever had. Spouse did not like the fish sandwich either. Do not recommend. Will not return.
