Dear Lord it is amazingly still good I’ve been going here for upwards of 20 years I go to the one on Hixson Pike as opposed to the one that is on 153. I came in late with Galvatron my service dog and they were still happily to serve just me and I was very grateful for that. I got the scallops and steak with double fried rice which becomes more than a meal for one easily you could have three meals out of that if you wished. Staff is always was very accommodating chefs were amazing food quality was absolutely amazing and I have to say after 20 years the quality has not dropped by any means The prices also have not been raised over and over as so many other restaurants in the area have. Great place to have birthday parties for great for a date unfortunately for me it’s just me and my dog lol

If you choose to eat here, check your bill thoroughly, they will steal from you.
My party of 3 had dinner here, we were sat with another party of 3. Our waiter only had any interest in getting a date with a girl in the other party. The waiter barely spoke to my party. He also never refilled my party’s drinks, although he did refills for the other party several times. $4 per soft drink is on the high side when it is never refilled. My niece ordered a sushi roll. I had to ask about it 3 times. The waiter only brought it when we were at the end of our meal and preparing to leave. We had about decided to tell them to keep it and take it off the bill, but my niece said she would take it with her and eat it later. When the waiter brought the bill, one of the few times he bothered to notice us, he said he removed the sushi roll from the bill since it took nearly an hour to come out. Also, we were never offered the Japanese tea that is supposed to be with our meal, the waiter took off as soon as he could, so we just decided not to bother with it.
When I put my card down for the bill, I noticed it was on the high side, so I just figured he hadn’t actually taken the sushi roll off the bill. But later when I got home, I added up what we got, including taxes and tip, and realized we were overcharged. Had he still added the sushi roll, we were over charged by $13, if he did in fact remove the sushi roll, we were over charged by $23.
I did notice the girl he was chatting up had a to go box by her that was being made for a to go order. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was charged for her to go order, so he could get a date out of the girl.
Also as usual, the couple of shrimps they gave us was overcooked and rubber, we always give those to the dogs. But once I got home and looked at the recent reviews of the roach problem, the leftovers we had were all thrown out.
If you bother to read reviews, I recommend not eating here, but if you choose to anyway, check your bill thoroughly.
I can forgive bad service, even the food being bad one time, but i cannot forgive stealing from me. I will not be back and will be telling my friends and family about the experience, and to read the reviews.

We were really disappointed with our experience and the restaurant truly needs to do better. The service was terrible from start to finish. We never received drink refills, and every time we asked for something, our server acted like we were an inconvenience .
On top of that, we ordered sushi and didn’t receive it until after the chef had already finished cooking at our table, which completely defeated the purpose of ordering it with our meal. The hibachi experience itself was also a letdown. The chef seemed annoyed to be there and put in very little effort. We specifically chose this restaurant to celebrate my son’s 9th birthday because he loves the fun, interactive atmosphere. There was no acknowledgment of his birthday at all, which was extremely disappointing. What should have been a special and memorable night turned into a frustrating one. This place has so much potential, but the service, timing, and overall attitude need major improvement. Very disappointed and will definitely others know about this.

This was by far one of the worst hibachi places I’ve been to. The waitress was great, but the cook and the food left a lot to be desired. The shrimp was overly fishy, the rice tasted rotten (until I smothered it in extra soy sauce), the vegetables were just meh and not cooked to my liking (too crisp). The cook didn’t really talk the whole time except to verify orders and ask about sauce. Anne me just being petty, they “didn’t have Teriyaki sauce.” Even though the menu says they do…. I would not go if I were you, but I like my food the way I like my food and this place just didn’t cut it.

Edited to add the bathrooms were disgusting. 🙁

I am extremely disappointed by my experience on Sunday night. While dining, a roach ran directly by my plate while I was eating. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I was unable to finish my meal.I have been a loyal customer for over five years and have always had positive experiences in the past, which makes this incident even more concerning. Although the service was excellent, it does not outweigh the seriousness of this issue. Due to this experience, I will not be returning

Food was absolutely amazing, but our waitress was very rude. From the moment we stepped in, we felt very rushed. As soon as we sat down she started rushing us to order. She passive aggressively asked us 4 times within 10 minutes to order. She then brought our checks very quickly and asked us to pay so they could close the register. From the entrance it says they closed at 10:30pm on Friday and we sat around 8:45pm. I assume from their behavior they must have the wrong posted time. Again, food was absolutely amazing but the service was very disappointing. Please post correct time, so staff do not treat customers in this way and so customers do not misunderstand and dine so close to closing.

Food was top notch. Spicy tuna roll was so yum. Very salty, but yum. Hostesses were very nice. Loved the cook! Shrimp with fried rice was soo good, great ginger dressing flavor on the salad, and the soup was divine as well. Doesn’t open til the evening, so keep that in mind. Definitely a good restaurant to go to in the Hixson area with a fancier city feel. Really good.

As expected, it was a superb place to eat. I didn’t need to toilet, so I’m not sure what looked like. One minute thing was of Itty bitty concern, but not a no-fly zone.
The cook was a tiny bit boring. His level of entertainment for our table was just not really there. The food was obviously good and hot. The food was plentiful. The white sauce was just the way I love it yesss.
This was a new location for me, though. My first love was East Brainerd.
A little surprising no more noodle options, though.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant. Tonight it was ruined for us. We were sat at a table and didn’t even have time to order drinks when a roach ran across the table. We were a party of 2 and there was a table of 3 sat with us. The entire table left without ordering a thing.
