Hands down, they have the BEST smoked BBQ chicken I have tried in Jax. You can fight me on that, but if you haven’t tried their food yet, I’m not listening to you.
The fact that it’s family owned and operated makes it even better. The husband and wife who run it are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They’ve been serving up mouthwatering BBQ for over 20 years, and it shows in every bite. They also offer catering orders for large parties.
I love supporting local, family-owned businesses, and this is one you NEED to add to your list.
A word of advice: they do sell out — so if you have your heart set on something specific, plan to get there early.

I just want to say I enjoyed everything about Smoke City BBQ! As soon as we pulled in the energy was very pleasant and welcoming. My family and I got the large family meal and served us just right. The ribs were fall off the bone. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and tasty. And the COLLARD GREENS were the best! We sat in the picnic area, and owners turned some nice music on and it really set the vibe. 10/10 recommend!

We pulled up because we seen a nice little crowd and decided to try it out. It was about 5:15p. It smelled good while waiting and also when we got the bags.
Mac n Cheese: SUPER GREASY!
BBQ SPAGHETTI: OILY, MUSHY, & GROSS!
RIBS: not FULLY cooked. I had to finish them off in the oven.
Chicken: Dry and the skin just slide right off in such a weird way
Smoked Chicken Salad: This was decent, but had TOO much mayo or whatever they’re using. It also had a bitter taste to it. The seasoning is mediocre. I had to add black pepper, paprika, onion and garlic powder to it.

Love the laid back atmosphere with the picnic tables and the garden, very relaxed. The lady who took our order was exceptionally friendly, like being served by your mama. The food was the star of the show though!!! Such LARGE portions, and the pulled pork was phenomenal….. the ribs were large, juicy and full of flavor…. the baked beans have a special twist, almost tasted like sweet potatoes, give them a try!!

This BBQ is amazing! We are from out of town and drove past and saw all the smokers lined up and knew it had to be good. My husband was ready to move here after tasting it! Ribs fall off the bone. So good! You won’t regret trying it!

I stopped by and grabbed me a late lunch, the ladies working were super nice. I had the ribs and chicken with collards and mac n cheese and it was great. they even give you a huge thing of sauce for your food. def give them a shot.

The BBQ is good. Ordered the 2 meat combo. I chose ribs and chicken. My 2 sides I chose the baked beans and collards greens.
Service was good. I actually talked to the owner and he was real nice. Overall, stop going elsewhere if your looking for the best ribs in town. I arrived 45mins before they closed and the food was still fresh, and the ribs are tender.

Arlington’s best bbq in the area. Melvin the owner is such a blessing to the community. I stopped by tonight to get some food, but he was closed. He came by and explained the business hours then decided to serve me anyways which was on the house. I appreciate the kind gesture and just want to spread the word to try his food. The smoked chicken w/ Mac and baked beans is so good. The greens are great as well along with the sauces.
