This Wendy’s should be closed down. And I honestly didn’t believe the so called manager who called herself “Angela” I had to take her word for that bc she wasn’t wearing a name tag that identified her. When I asked for my money back because I had been in there for minutes waiting, I spent my entire lunch break standing there waiting for my food that I never got. She then made me wait for another 10 minutes to give me myoney back. So not only did my entire lunch break at work get wasted but I left hungry without food. And the so called manager named Angela was perfectly okay with that being the case. She has multiple opportunities to remedy the situation but she didn’t. Probably for the best honestly because the store was dirty, it clearly isn’t being ran correctly, lobby guest count for people that had ordered but were waiting on their food was like 17 people plus me. Also.probably better that I didn’t eat anything from. There because the gentleman making the sandwiches has dreadlocks and a full beard no hairnet in sight (see video below). I’ve had to get my money back from a Wendy’s I. The past and I had paid with my card, they didn’t even ask me how I paid they gave me back the cash. However Angela insisted on making me wait even longer because she said she was unable to refund my money in cash and it must be returned in the original tender, when I explained cash would be okay and be faster and I had seen it done in the past she called me a liar. she said I’m just making that up. Also- when telling her I was going to post this review she told me she didn’t care that I could do my worst, because nothing would happen she literally said that’s fine ” that doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s no wonder why this location has gone downhilll so bad. I eat Wendy’s nearly every day during lunch break in the poqouson and Yorktown area. I immediately left this Wendy’s went to the next one up the street and had my food in about 70 seconds after ordering. I’m sitting here now writing this review. It shouldn’t be allowed for someone to waste 100 dollars of your time, then punish you even more when you legit have to go and can no longer wait for the food, with no fear of being held accountable for anything whatsoever. And sadly I believe her because it really seemed like she had already been down this road and knows for a fact that she will continue to get away with it.Do these folks not understand that people are literally just stepping out from work briefly to patronize their establishment, why would you go out of your way to take up someone’s entire lunch break and then your have a smile on your face when they leave empty handed and hungry. My co worker had gone through the drive thru
while I went inside. His food ended up being wrong and they overcharged him for the drink. I guess Angela will get away with it yet again. I’ve decided ive it will be to costly toy.time and wallet to track down whoever the real manager is for this location. But hey, at least maybe some other poor soul that was going to go try and grab food on lunch break here to think again and won’t now

Hubby and I go inside at 10: 15am to eat. The lunch menu was up so we tried to order lunch. Cashier tells us they are serving breakfast until 10:30. I asked her why the lunch menu was up and she stared at me like a deer in headlights Then I asked her where the breakfast menu was. Again the stare. Do better Wendys

We ordered a regular hamburger meal, and the bottom bun was so stale, I probably could have used it as a weapon. My husband got a chicken sandwich meal and a side of spicy nuggets, got home and his nuggets were regular and he was missing his fries. We tried to call them and no one answered the phone. Terrible experience.

This used to be the best Wendys in the area and i had previously given thie location 5 stars. Now you are taking a chance at getting sick if you eat hear. The fries were cold and were at least an hour old as the were cols, hard, and dried out. The burger was luke warm reheated overcooked and dry. I don’t know what happened to this location. They now have a bunch of kids working at this location that obviously couldn’t get a job anywhere else. Wendys needs to fire this crew and replace it with people who care about the food they serve

2nd time, I won’t let it happen again. Check your bag, open all your sandwiches because they WILL give you the wrong order. That’s your only guarantee here. How much closer are we to having robots work there? I’d pay more to be able to trust they give me what I ask for.

Used to be a great Wendy’s. Wanted to give it one last shot to retain my patronage because it’s relatively conveniently located at times
Now it should just be shut down. All of my food is cold but I didn’t have time to wait for it to be made fresh, the staff are smug unfriendly and basically worthless. God forbid You have to ask for something they forgot, then your treated like your the ahole. Drink machine has like only coke diet coke and sprite and Zero ice, meanwhile it’s 100 degrees today outside. So the drinks are hot and the food is cold is the takeaway here. Btw they use what looks like the mop bucket to transfer ice to the drink machine, so if you noticed that after your drink is mostly ice and meldt a little and you drink the last bit that’s why it takes stale and like mildew that is because IT IS. Is zero stars a possible score of so this would be a candidate.

There was an order error which would require a simple order refund to correct the issue. I wanted to add a biscuit to take advantage of the 2 for 1 special. The sales person suggested and indicated that this could be done but, the Manager indicated that he doesn’t do any refunds. There would not have been any return of food items. There would be the addison of a biscuit. The Manager said that He didn’t do refunds. I asked about customer satisfaction and the Manager just shrugged his shoulders and opened up his eyes largely. I frequently go to this Wendy’s and tell my Friends in Poquoson, Va. but, that’s about to change due to this unacceptable customer experience. Please correct this issue. The cost of this issue is a sausage cheese biscuit! Really?

When I first arrived the staff seemed a bit disorganized and flustered by some outstanding orders, however, they finally recovered and took my order several minutes later. The young lady who took my order (Angela) was polite and personable with a nice smile – not something you find in many fast food restaurants these days. My order came out quickly, correctly, and it was hot. Hurray! Angela even asked if I would like some ketchup. Whoa!
The restaurant was clean with the exception of some water spilled on the floor in from of the drink dispenser, and a couple of pesky flies buzzing around.
Although the music is not to my taste it probably reflects that of the employees and guests. That said, I will never understand why it has to be so LOUD in restaurants these days. I’d rather be able to hold a civil conversation without having to raise my voice over the damn music. Turn it down. Please.
