We ate here on 02/10/26 at 6:46 pm. The food was the best we’ve ever gotten here. I ordered orange chicken and rice, mushroom chicken with rice and noodles, and 4 spring rolls. I like that the mushrooms were sliced thin and fully cooked, and the zucchini was cut small. It did take a long time to get my food though. I spent 20-25 minutes in the drive thru, and there was only one car ahead of me that had already ordered. If that’s because the food isn’t made until you order, it still seems excessive.

Every time I see the Panda Express sign or a nearby location, I feel a sense of happiness and comfort, knowing I’m about to have a decent meal. I first discovered Panda Express 23 years ago during a trip to San Diego, and it has been a reliable choice ever since.

Last month, my brother-in-law and I decided to eat there, and I was excited to order my favorite dish, Orange Chicken. Unfortunately, it was temporarily unavailable, so I opted for another dish that was unfamiliar to me—quite spicy and heavily seasoned.

To my surprise, about five minutes later, the young lady who had served me (I can’t recall her name) came over to let me know that my favorite dish was back in stock. She brought me a generous portion of the Orange Chicken, free of charge. I was delighted and truly satisfied, not just with the food but also with her kindness and attentiveness.

Her thoughtfulness really made my day, and I left feeling grateful for this unexpected gesture. Panda Express has always been a comforting choice for me, and experiences like these remind me why. I’m looking forward to my next visit, where I know I’ll feel right at home.

The food was too hard. The rice was the worst, it was dry, overcooked & seemed old. I ask the young lady how fresh it was, she wasn’t sure but said it hasn’t been sitting out long. It was more rice in the bowl & only a few pieces of chicken. The staff was rude & unprofessional. One young lady was using a spray bottle, cleaning all around the food & the glass in front/over the food. They didn’t & wouldn’t cover the food. I brought it to her attention & she just shrugged her shoulders. This is unsanitary.

Overall the food tasted fine. We’ve been here several times now and every time the staff is slow and they act like they don’t want us to be there. It seems to be inconvenient/a bother for them to take our order despite us knowing what we want before we are at the counter. The location on Outer Loop has much better service.

I will say though, I do believe in the trickle down effect. Usually if there is a problem like this with the staff it stems from problems with the location’s management.

We stood and waited for an uncomfortable amount of time while a lady mopped the floor behind the counter directly in front of where we were standing, the man in the cooking area (not cooking mind you) and the girl at the window all ignored the fact that we were standing there. They didn’t so much as say they would be with us in a minute or anything…completely ignored the fact we were there. Did I mention we were literally the only people in the restaurant? The service, or lack there of, was very rude and confusing. If I could leave a review without giving any stars I would have done that.

We stopped by here for dinner take out on Sunday. I would definitely categorize this place as a Chinese fast food place. It has a drive through, but we went inside for takeout. The line is a buffet style where you point and choose what you want and the employee fills your plate. We were greeted with a friendly atmosphere, and the wait was not too bad. The negative side to this kind of food service is that if they run out of an item it does take a few minutes to fill back up. The prices are moderate for the portions you get. They have lots of different items to choose from and with the exception of the fried rice being a little bland, they are all good. Not sure what to pick? Don’t worry, just ask to try a sample. It is a good place to eat, but I would probably go across the street in Shepherdsville to get take out from China 8 instead. It has a much better value and food.

The food was typical Panda Express but they were badly short staffed. There were 6 of and they were swarmed at drive-thru. By the time the first person in our group got their food it was cold. Try hiring people, maybe raise the pay so you attract more workers. I and most people don’t mind paying a little extra for good service. It’s not the employees fault, corporate greed is the culprit here.

My boyfriend and I have both gotten food poisoning from here as well as a friend of mine. On all separate occasions, I got it from the mushroom chicken my boyfriend got his from the orange chicken and my friend got it from the orange chicken as well. I don’t know if they’re not cooking the chicken all the way or what but this is disgusting and I will not be coming back. Not to mention on several occasions I’ve seen someone STANDING on the stove wiping the walls down. Do not risk eating here.
