1st visit. Not sure if I’d return. Ordered 2 meat plate with 2 sides and banana pudding. $32.84. I chose brisket and Sausage bc I wasn’t allowed to order double brisket. Something about only being able to order double if they were low. Anyhow, I’m an honest reviewer. The place was lovely and was greeted warmly. For a Friday evening (6ish) not a single dine in customer. My brisket and Sausage was warm at best. I live less than 5 mins away and was disappointed to find my food on the cooler side. I even had my seat heater on. Brisket was on the drier side and not much flavor. Maybe I should have added the bbq sauce but not a huge fan of sauce. The sausage was ok, nothing spectacular but not bad either. I chose cream corn which was AWESOME and potato salad, also nice flavor. Order came with 1 bread, pickles and raw onions . I did ask for 2 Xtra breads but only got 1. Not a big deal on that. Now the banana pudding was SUPERB! PRACTICALLY picked my cup clean.

First time eating at Smoakwood BBQ on 2204 S WW White Rd. and wow the food was excellent! We had the Chopped BBQ sandwich, Sausage Wrap & Chiken Leg Quarter Plate with beans and macaroni & cheese! Everything was excellent, meat was juicy and moist. Best macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Give them a try! Very reasonably priced, very clean and friendly staff!

Came in around 11:30 AM to try out this place after seeing their TikTok post. We ordered the ribs, brisket, sausage, and brisket nachos along with sides. Please be sure to try their banana pudding, it was amazing! We will be returning in the future 🙂

Passed this place couple times and finally decided to stop by! Food was delicious! I got the rib plate with 2 sides Mac and green beans so good 10/10 and a sweet tea and leg quarter plate w/ 2 sides cheesy potatoes w/ bacon and a sweet tea which was bomb good and sweet. Atmosphere was clean and cozy… customer service was a 1000/1000! I will be a returning customer. food was so good and affordable now I have tried BBQ in SA but, this place is so satisfying! Don’t walk RUN to this place.. I ate the food so fast ain’t even get to get a picture! Fingerlicking goodt

Really good BBQ! The ribs are my favorite and have such a great flavor! The chicken was juicy and seasoned just right. The brisket nachos are next on my list to try.
The sides are just as great with the potato salad, green beans, and creamed corn being my go to options.
The employees are nice and courteous and it’s a nice, welcoming clean restaurant environment.

Definitely one of the better BBQ spots compared to 2M and BBQ life. Ribs are meaty and the sides are delicious. I will definitely be trying the other meats and sides soon.

Sadly didn’t get any photos of my food! But the chopped brisket sandwich was delish! Tried cheesy potatoes and mac and cheese and wow it was sooo good! Sweet tea was perfectly sweet! Service was amazing! Place is super clean! If you’re looking for a sign to go, this is it!
