They have amazing weekly specials, too:
• Happy Hour on Mondays ALL DAY with classic margaritas for only $10 (so good!)
• Tecate Tuesday, perfect if you love an easy, chilled beer
• And my absolute favorite: the Carnitas Combo — tender, flavorful pulled pork that hits every time, available any day of the week.
If you’re vegetarian or avoid dairy, the Vegetable Burrito is incredible. It’s hearty, packed with flavor, and wrapped in their house-made corn tortilla, which makes all the difference. Don’t skip the chips it comes with a scoop of guacamole on top of the warm chips. Heaven.
Brunch here is another level:
• Their chilaquiles are comforting and perfectly seasoned
• And the eggs with steak is such a satisfying combo
The cocktails are unreal — especially their signature pineapple spicy cocktail. Truly one of the best I’ve had.
Overall, Taqueria Milear is one of those rare spots where everything feels thoughtful, homemade, and delicious. I can’t recommend it enough!
And they have a LOT to be proud of. The homemade tortillas were unlike anything I’ve had before. I’m usually not a fan of carnitas, but the ones they make here are incredible fresh and delicious.
If you’re not hungry, definitely come for the drinks. The spicy chipotle margarita is a whole meal in a drink – SO good. I was only able to get a picture of the drinks but look how beautiful they are! They also have a great happy hour deal where margaritas are $9-10.
Such a great hidden gem in crown heights. Highly recommend for atmosphere, drinks, food and service.
I’m more upset at the fake processed queso. It was like the cheese out a big can. It first came to the table cold. Then they warned it. Same processed cheese just warm. Or did they just serve ME this. Cause I know they’re not serving Hispanics this cheese and they’re ok with it. Not “Queso” at all. No peppers no season. Just overly orange cheese.
I’ve been here a few times. Normally for drinks to go tho.
I dnt think I’ll ever come for food and everyone else’s food looked so good. They also weren’t black.
I’ve always loved ordering from here but now I will come back in person again
