While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Roseville,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.
Fast-food chain outpost known for Mexican classics made with fire-grilled chicken.

I just went back cause someone gave me a gift card. After ordering they lost my order. Waited 40 minutes as they had to cook more chicken. Worse still(as my wife said) one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. Chicken was dry, broccoli was overcooked, and the order was not accurate (we ordered no gravy on the potatoes and they were drenched). So i subtracted another star from my original.
Totally not recommended!
We had a very unpleasant and upsetting experience at this establishment. The dining area floor was wet and dangerously slippery, making it unsafe to walk. We politely informed the staff, expecting them to take action to ensure customer safety. Instead, they laughed at us and responded sarcastically, saying, “We have a sign up.” No effort was made to clean the floor or take our concern seriously.
Shortly after, I slipped and fell on the same wet floor. When my spouse asked to speak with a manager, a woman named Crystal (who claimed to be the manager) approached us. Shockingly, she admitted, “Yes, the floor is slippery and unsafe, but we’ve put up a warning sign.” She then added mockingly, “If you can’t walk here, feel free to leave and eat your food at home.”
The entire interaction was not only careless and unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. The staff ridiculed and belittled us with smirks and sarcastic remarks instead of offering help or even basic courtesy. It was clear they had no sense of responsibility for customer safety or comfort.
We documented the condition of the floor with photos and informed them that we would be reporting the incident. I strongly advise others to stay away from this place until they address their serious safety issues and train their staff in basic professionalism and respect.
