Did some googling and found the Cheesesteak House. We have had Charley’s before and it’s ok for what it is, but it’s not the real deal Philly cheesesteak. I went to go pick up the food for us and I’m glad I did. Juan was the employee I interacted with tonight and he was a GEM!!! Juan answered all my questions about what the best thing to get, what specials there were, how’s the queso, what’s American Swiss cheese, what’s Joel’s special sauce, etc. Good thing I was the only customer with all of my questions. Juan was patient and so friendly. I ordered a large beef cheesesteak, a large beef cheezy cheesesteak, large fries, onion rings, and a large queso. My food came out within 5 minutes and Juan let me pick from the selection of their sauces to take home to try out. I got some ranch, Joel’s special sauce, and the mayotle.
I then went home to share the feast with the SO and it was pretty darn good. I got a thumb’s up for his cheesesteak and I liked my cheezy cheesesteak. It was way too big to eat at once. My stomach and eyes were too big when I ordered my cheesesteak, so I only had half. If you like lots of cheese, then this is the cheesesteak for you. The rolls for the cheesesteaks were soft and had a little chew to them. The meat and onions were also cooked well. The potion was huge and a great value for the price. There was no skimping on the beef. We both liked the fries. They were fresh, crispy, crunchy, and not too thin. We don’t like thin fries. The onion rings were ok in my opinion. SO liked them. The ranch was yum as well. My favorite sauce was the mayotle, which was chipotle mayo. It had a nice kick to it. SO favorite was Joel’s special sauce, which I think Juan said is ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickled banana pepper juice. We forgot to try the large queso we got, but I already had some in my cheesesteak and it was mighty delicious.
According to the SO, Cheesesteak House will be on the to go food rotation in our house. It’s really GOOD!! See you soon, Juan!!! I’ll be back to get me some cheesesteaks!!! Yum!!!!
