Dolce is a gorgeous restaurant and the food presentation is amazing, but our experience was very up and down. Service was extremely slow our server had tables on both sides of the restaurant and got overwhelmed fast. He was genuinely trying, and the supervisors eventually stepped in to help him, so I don’t blame him at all.
The mussels were the best part of the night super flavorful. The lentils under the branzino were actually good. The fish itself was okay, but the broccolini and bok choy had a strange, almost spicy-bitter taste that wasn’t enjoyable.
The pasta came out way too al dente for my liking, but the carpaccio was the biggest issue. It was cut way too thick, and the raw taste was really strong. I took one bite and couldn’t finish it. My partner also had a single bite and we didn’t eat anything else after dinner and the next day he was extremely sick. Non-stop cramps, throwing up, couldn’t keep anything down… it’s concerning enough that they should definitely look into it.

Had an overall good time at Dolce! I was staying at the W and decided to have lunch there with a few friends. It was Restaurant Week, so we lucked up on a great deal. The space is beautiful and elegant, definitely a great spot for catching up with friends or for drinks at their bar.
The service was pretty good overall. no complaints there. I ordered the truffle cauliflower soup and the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was good but the soup definitely stood out. I loved the flavor and it was definitely comforting on a cold winter day. If anything, it could’ve been a bit warmer for me although my friend thought the temperature was fine. Don’t get me wrong, I would come back for it! I also had a old fashion that was strong and tasty just like i like it.
Overall Dolce was a great choice and a great way to start my trip in Philadelphia. A solid spot if you’re staying at the W and I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Chef Michael is amazing! Very detail oriented. We had the best Christmas Eve dinner. Justin our waiter was so nice & helpful. Thanks to FOX for letting us know about Dolce. If you have the chance to go, make sure you have the scallops!

This is our first and one and only day in Philadelphia. Our diinner at Dolce was exceptional. My family is Italian, from Piedmonte. Mark, Jason, and their colleagues and staff made my birthday memorable. The salad, the truffle ravioli, the short ribs marrow with the agnellini, the drinks, the tiramisù with a candele, and the warm and attentive service. A perfect night. Mille grazie!!

My husband chose this place for date night and it definitely was a great pick. Everything was amazing. Cocktails and food didn’t disappoint!! Side note braised short ribs were tasty but a little too salty.. Ambience was nice. Server was pleasant. We will definitely return!!”

My date and I were blown away with the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. I can’t quite remember the name of our server, but he was so respectful and helpful I think he’s the best server Ive ever communicated with. It seemed as though he actually cared what food we chose as to make it the best experience for us, he received a very friendly tip for taking such good care of us. And the upmost respect and admiration to the front desk hostess, she was extremely friendly and gave us one of the most beautiful corner booth closer to the kitchen, the date felt extremely personal as a result. On top of the atmosphere and staff, the food was incredible. The Short rib and bone marrow agnolotti was something spectacular, very creamy and savory.
Ive been to almost every restaurant in Center City. I can say without a doubt, this restaurant is very beautiful and has much personality compared to others! And for that i will definitely return again soon.

Ordered a margarita pizza … It was not margarita, it was a cheese pizza with basil leaves and it was $23 for just barely larger than a personal pan. Took about 30 minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasnt very crowded. It’s not a horrible restaurant but I probably wouldn’t return.

The food was okay. The mussels in red sauce were the best out of all the dishes ordered. I had the clam linguine, and I would prefer more clams, flavor, and seasonings. My friend had the salmon and it was good, the lentil was just okay… We would have been satisfied with just the mussels and the cocktails.
