Good meal and experience overall.
We stopped by for lunch yesterday and the deck was packed because it was so nice outside. We got in and out in a reasonable amount of time and the food was good overall. My fried shrimp was very good as was my wife’s flaky fish sandwich.

Tacky Jack’s is a great option if you are staying in the Fort Morgan area. It’s not a far drive like some of the other options around. We visited twice on our stay. If you visit I would recommend Gator Bites for an appetizer They are mouth watering and my go-to! My entree was Snow Crab Legs and they were wonderful as well, a little over seasoned but good. (Picture is missing my corn on the cob that my child took before the picture ) If you like Shrimp, Definitely get the Reds (my husband’s & his family’s fav) Also, Great drink menu— definitely give one a try! Beautiful water views, staff was nice, but be prepared to wait if visiting in the late afternoon. Good atmosphere, can be a little loud at times.. but overall a good experience.

Our last night here and it was later in the evening and we decided this was dinner. Ordered the shrimp platter and wife got nachos. Food was good, portions were good, nachos were really good. I agree, it is a little pricey, but by the time you drive 18 to 25 miles to the city, it’s not that bad. Atmosphere is great, service was quick and the servers were friendly. The parking lot was full at 7:30pm but we didn’t have to wait, so that’s a plus as well. Great shrimp, we hope to come back one day!

The waiter took our order quickly and left. We left our table and drinks to take a quick picture of the sunset. Less than five minutes. Went back to the table and it had been cleared before food had been served. We told the manager and they made us new drinks. Our order came… the taco salad was fresh from a taco seasoning packet we could have done better at home. The boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes …. corn and potatoes were wonderful. The shrimp was gritty. We will not be back.

Food and service was decent. What’s got us grossed out is the cleanliness. Mold all over the highchair is insane.( pictures attached)Walls and doors are caked with filth and the glimpse in the kitchen door when opened was basically the same. Prices are high but to be expected in a tourist town.

My husband and I went to this restaurant and had an amazing first experience. Our server Solo did a wonderful job on helping us choose the best drinks and food and making sure everything was perfect. He also gave us great ideas on what to do during our first stay here at Fort Morgan. My husband got the Mexican garbage and I got the Tacky shrimp and both were really good. We sat outside towards the bay right before sunset and it was beautiful!
