Came here for dinner because I wanted seafood and it didn’t disappoint. We sat outside because we wanted to enjoy the views while eating. It was lively as they had karaoke going. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable as well. I had the following:

What a great place. Super friendly, great server (Abby), the food was exceptional. I had the combo, and had green beans instead of roasted veggies. Really tasty. You can see pic, it tasted even better than it looks. We sat by the open air doors ( closed because it was 44 outside), and caught the sunset. Great conversation with a colleague, really just a options notch experience, so glad I decided to go out to eat tonight. It’s the off season so we had no wait, but I would guess an rsvp might be a good idea at other times of the year

Had a nice, relaxing lunch on a Thursday with my husband. It was extremely hot outside so we sat inside and loved the atmosphere. Our server was wonderful. We started with the Hot Blue Crab Dip which was great. For entrees, I had the Shrimp and Grits and my husband had Fish Tacos. My shrimp and grits were good, the sauce was more on the tomato side than any other shrimp and grits I’ve had before. But the portion side was absolutely massive for a lunch entree and I got half of it to go! Would go here again and try something new.

Food was delicious, service was slow. Took our server 15 minutes to bring our drinks and then we really never saw him again in between serves to see if we wanted another round or needed anything else. We had to flag him down…. Other than that, as it was our first time there and we were a large group, we would return to try it again because we did enjoy the food and the restaurant itself was very pretty with nice views and nice atmosphere.

Stopped by to watch some football and grab light lunch on a rainy day. It was not packed so we were able to find good seats by tv screens. Ordered calamari as an appetizer (forgot to take the photo) and chili. Calamari was deep fried to perfection! I especially liked the spice level! Chili contained lots of tomato chunks and was good. Ordered irish coffee. We had to ask for another one because the first batch was cold. Fresh brewed coffee is always better with Irish coffee, and the waiter made sure the coffee was hot.

Wonderful spot for a relaxed lunch! We sat in the covered outdoor area, and the host was thoughtful enough to place our family with a sleeping baby at a quiet table out of the way. The food was excellent, with the caramelized pineapple in the Hawaiian sushi bowl being the standout highlight. Service was spot on—our server even circled back to confirm my orders once my wife returned, which we really appreciated. Attentive staff and great food made for a fantastic experience!

The kitchen was very slow. Considering they were not really busy, that was disappointing. My crab cakes were good. My husband’s seafood casserole had no flavor and the scallops in it were mushy. However, the Shecrab soup was absolutely excellent; so much so that we actually took home an extra quart.

Poseidon Restaurant offers casual dining at its finest. With a wide variety of menu options, there’s something for everyone. The service was excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable. We had reservations and thought it looked good online. I don’t know why, but we picked outdoor seating and our hostess took us to a back corner surrounded by walls, so even though it was a lovely breezy day, we all were stifling hot from no air moving. Our waitress was nice and that was the best part of it. Lunch service, and it took 45m for our order to come out. Didn’t terribly mind that. 3 of us got shrimp and grits with she crab soup. The shrimp was coated in sand?? It filled mouth with grit and completely inedible. Someone else at our table ordered it and had the same problem. The she crab soup was thicker than paste.
Extremely underwhelmed. Very expensive meal that no one ate. Would never go back or recommend.
