I honestly really liked most plates! We came for HH. It’s comparative to Momiji in terms of aesthetic and easy to walk in.
The HH menu/ Apps are small. So don’t expect to be super full. The short ribs were delicious and the salmon don was fresh!
I thought the spicy tuna and spicy salmon were fine. But the Seattle roll was great! (Although I think it’ was missing the cream cheese).
It’s definitley pricey for speciality rolls but the HH hour rolls did the job just fine.

Had a phenomenal time. Came in with no reservations and had to wait 45 mins for a take for 4. Which was totally worth it. The drinks were delicious. The food incredible. We tried the king salmon and the Otoro which were unbelievable. We were missing one piece of otoro but the kitchen made up for it and took care of us.
We had 5 rolls, the casino royal, the moonraker, rainbow, and the mango tango. They also made us a Philadelphia roll even tho it wasn’t on the menu.
The moonraker and the casino royal were absolutely incredible and we ordered these two again. The real wasabi we could order was also a standout.
The presentation was beautiful. The flavours incredible. And the service exceptional. They were happy to accommodate a gluten free requirement, an avocado allergy and an egg allergy.
Next time I’m in Seattle I will definitely return.

Came on a Wednesday night without a reservation and was very lucky to have seats at the bar immediately. Love the vibe and decorations here. The waiter came very frequently to make sure that everything was going well for us. The food was great, we loved both the rolls that we got. We originally wanted to get the tempura ice cream but they were out of it, so we got the green tea tiramisu instead. Did not regret at all.
(The bathroom is behind a hidden door and is kind of hard to find if you don’t look close enough)

Delicious food, totally worth the price. I got two of their vegetarian sushi rolls and my boyfriend got two of their hottest rolls. Walked away very satisfied with our service and full belly.

Tried Umi for takeout and the dishes we received ranged from decent to awesome. Our nigiri was tender and delicious, but I found the beef dish a bit bland. Food was ready when I showed up for pickup and prices were aligned with normal elevated Seattle food costs. Would come back and try a sit down dinner.

The atmosphere is great. The staff is amazing. The food is yummy but the extra flavors overpower the amazing fish they use. I wanted a very fish forward sushi experience and while delicious it didn’t hit the mark.

Excellent salmon trio. As good as the Toro. Best rice I’ve ever had. Get the Sashimi and a side of rice. Sauvignon Blanc was fabulous. Well priced, great service and atmosphere. A must. Picture only has half the salmon.

Really cool restaurant that is always a surprise once you walk in from outside.
Their happy hour menu is AMAZING and they have so many roll options as well. DEFINITELY get the garlic short ribs.
Service is also very quick and nice!

I had a great experience at Umi Sake House, especially during their happy hour. The sushi specials were such a good deal—and honestly, some of the freshest I’ve had in a while. I tried the Demon Slayer roll, and it was amazing—just the right amount of spice and packed with flavor. Everything was really well made and came out quickly. The vibe of the place is relaxed but stylish, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s definitely a spot I’ll come back to whenever I’m craving good sushi and a solid happy hour.

We enjoyed a birthday dinner celebration at Umi. Service was great, portions were great and so were the vegetarian option. They surprised us with a chocolate mousse dessert at the end which was the cherry on top.
