Shrinking the amount of turkey in the sandwiches. I did not pay $17 for bread. The sandwich is mostly bread and not near as good as it used to be.

All Ike’s locations have the same style interior: lively colors and large print. The sandwich menu is the same though they usually have a specific city sandwich. If you don’t see your favorite on the menu you can still order it or make a custom one. Most of the sandwiches cost around $10-13 depending how many meats are inside. Some extras cost more like avocado, BBQ sauce (seriously), honey!? Make sure to keep note because the prices can add up! I think the sandwiches are great quality; halal chicken, Dutch crunch bread, extras made from scratch.. but it is a sandwich so maybe not worth the price unless you’re really craving a sandwich? Definitely worth trying and finding out yourself!
One note, this location was really slow with orders.. only 3 people working on the weekend and 1 person was just beating meat, 1 was cleaning, 1 was making food. Pretty annoying.

Really good sandwiches and surprisingly good selection of vegan meats. Even have dairy free cheese. Purple bread looks cool. They have parking at the leasing office of the nearby apartments

The sub was good, I enjoyed the option to mix sauces and the menu had a variety of proteins, toppings and combinations to appeal to everybody. The wait was pretty long around lunch so call ahead or just be prepared.

This place is wonderful for sandwiches! They have great service and fresh ingredients. I get the Sneaky Kitty with vegetarian bacon, vegan cheese and the vegan dirty sauce on Dutch crunch bread. Their menu in the restaurant has lots of choices and there are even more on the website. They are always quick to let me know the bacon is vegetarian and not vegan when I order my sandwich. They even pop a little lollipop in the bag as a treat. I’ve been here many times since they opened in Emeryville and each time the service and food was very good. Love that kind of consistency.
